One thing leads to another

     Life is a circle. One thing leads to another. The essence of revolving from one thing to another is inescapable. One thing leads to another and then another in a never-ending circle of events. Sometimes the circle goes around and around til the meaning of its spinning is realized such as lessons being taught. Once we get it, the circle evolves into a bigger and better circle of newness in its travels. 

     Take for instance, a lesson in driving. We first start out as novices of the road till the circle spins around with enough experience and makes us roadworthy. Along the way, there may have been a few little crashes, so the circle has to spin around to that moment again. It goes around and around until we understand, making the circle of confidence complete. The circle grows in size as it moves on to other things we must learn. 

     The beautiful movie, " The Lion King", gives us a great example of how life is one big circle. Coming from lives of the past and connecting with those of now. We really are one big family. Using lessons learned from the past we use our intelligence to make them better or hopefully learn the lesson that it was trying to teach us. Often though, the circle must keep spinning. As the same lesson that has not been learned tries again. God willing, it won't take too many failed attempts to understand what the circle is trying to teach us. 

     I know personally, that I have had to have the circle spin over and over again, landing on the same situation because I just didn't learn it the first time. Again and again the turning circle turns until the lesson is learned. Thank goodness the circle is patient and is willing to go around again till I understand. 

     To me, the circle is God. He is the beginning and the end with infinite spinning. He is the Ring of Life. The wheel that keeps rolling along, from generation to generation. There is only the Alpha and the Omega which He has already claimed. The great circle of Eternity, that keeps spinning until we finally make it home, to His never ending, everlasting, spinning of Peace.
