Growing up in South Louisiana has meant living with constant reminders of the strong Catholic faith and community in that area. Sherry is very lucky to be a product of the Acadians who were deported from their homes in 1755. These ancestors lost everything, and yet never lost their faith in God and their Catholic church. Her parents and grandparents lived their Catholic faith.
Following her parents example, Sherry has been married for over thirty years; has three grown children, two grandchildren and one dog, Oscar.
Sherry began a blog in 2013 as a commitment to the call for evangelization. She wanted to share stories of her life in “Catholic Cajun country”.
Sherry and her husband, Ken, are members of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Milton, Louisiana. They are committed to the Catholic Church’s teaching and spreading the pro-life message.
Sherry has recently finished her first manuscript which has a strong pro-life message. Life is a gift from God. We are all called to love and cherish this gift.
