Saving Time

It is Sunday, and we moved our clocks ahead to save time again. Because of this, the question came to my mind,--and I will ask you. If you save time---where do you put it? Where do you store it so you can go get it when needed?

Now we think we can save time--like on a trip by going shorter distances, stopping less, or going earlier to avoid traffic. We think we can save time by being better prepared for the day by getting things ready before hand like lunches, clothes laid out, nothing let undone that will wait on you. (I promise you clutter waits to stare you in the face---giving you the 'shame on you silent message.')

So if we save time---are we really saving time? No for isn't this impossible to do? Time cannot be held on to as you all know. Keeps on ticking, the earth spinning at 1137 MPH,=====we cannot hold it down and say WHOA! Like that phrase---WAIT A MINUTE!!! Nope time will not wait on us. And rather Cher hopes time will not run out on her---Time will run out on us all.

So again let us take each and every moment of the present and make sure we are PRESENT. To each other, to our own inner self, and stay connected to the One who will enable us to live each second the way we hope and yearn for. Living life to the fullest or even living life at peace and contented. Ah the key word there. CONTENTED!! When we are happy with what is, when we do not fret, whine or complain about what is. When we remain that steadfast and faithful servant, walking His ways, trusting in God's love for us. Then we can be at peace and contented with whatever time it is. Another key word that leads to CONTENTED. TRUST! From Proverbs 3--v5

"Trust in the LORD with all your heart,

on your own intelligence do not rely;

6In all your ways be mindful of him,

and he will make straight your paths.

7Do not be wise in your own eyes,^b

fear the LORD and turn away from evil;

8This will mean health for your flesh

and vigor for your bones.

9Honor the LORD with your wealth,"

Your wealth of TIME that is---AND BE BLESSED---AS HE WILL MULTIPY WHATEVER WE GIVE HIM. TIME, TALENTS OR MONEY! Peace be with us all today--Peace that will come by our choice to live and obey His Words today.

This is the day that has been given and THIS is the TIME of our SALVATION!

Born the youngest of nine children, raised VERY Catholic across the street from Immaculate Heart of Mary church and school—Mom and Dad led by example and word their FAITH in God and saw to it that I was given 12 years of Catholic Education. (Mount St. Mary’s Academy/1965)

But, most importantly, because of my parents’ spiritual renewal after attending Cursillo Weekends, I too went on a retreat at our beloved Subiaco Abbey in Arkansas and there, at age 20, gave my life totally, surrendering all to my Lord and best Friend. This was my “Pentecostal” event that left me, like all the early Christians, on fire with God’s love and forever changed.

My husband Robert and I have been married for 54 this year in a marriage arranged by God. We have 8 children, two in heaven, 24 grandchildren, and 28 great-grandchildren. The story of our life together can be found in a book titled “My Journey, My Cross-As the Journals End,” published by Westbow Press . Our life together has been one awesome up and down roller coaster ride which enriched my heart with so many of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. I have found that the only way, Wisdom, Understanding, Words of Knowledge, Discernment, and Healing can be received is first by experiencing in your life the hurts of others. (and you yourself a sword will pierce)^* so that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.” Luke 2 v 35.

God has blessed me also many other talents and skills--but sometimes, blessings/gifts can and have caused problems or conflict in my life, as I am human and all too quickly that part of me shows up. Thank You God that You also show up!
