God's Love Comes Unexpectedly

I was sitting in church this past Sunday and I just needed God to fill my horrible emptiness that day.
Have you ever felt that way? When nothing satiates you?
Then after I received Holy Communion someone started to play an old church song I used to hear during my childhood instrumentally on the harp ... "I have loved you with an everlasting love, I have called you and you are mine." My eyes filled with tears as the Holy Spirit reminded me of the lyrics.
God's love came unexpectedly in an instrumental song.
We may feel so far from God's love sometimes or we may feel so in need of being filled by Him, and out of nowhere there it comes...in the words of a person...Scripture...prayer...song...and so many other ways He speaks to us and shows His love for us in our day to day life.
May you too encounter God's love in your time of need...unexpectedly.
