OH the HORROR of THIS!!
Enough Already!! End it!

Lord have Mercy!!! Is it just me--or there many of you wondering, "What ever is happening in our world?"
The increase in violence, the increase in violent weather, the increase in Mother Earth's trembling or shaking in fear herself! And, oh, the increase in the verbal assault on our ears to anyone who hears. Seeds of negativity, rumors of war, judgement without proof---well you know.
I have been asking daily, "Lord are we in the final countdown before Your second Coming?" The signs are everywhere!! Right now, too, the daily Scripture read at Mass seems to confirm the "Yes," reply. But, you may say we have these Scriptures every year at this time leading up to Advent and the first coming of our Lord.
BUT, what if? What if we are in the finals days? I know each day is one day closer than before. I know that each day could be the day we meet our Maker face to face. What are we to do and how are we to prepare, AS WE WAIT?
'Waiting' can be a trying and testing time. We can get anxious and weary, even depressed. But it is a time of spiritual growth, when we do what our Lord tells us TO DO. Keep on SERVING Him as if He was returning today. Obey His Words. seek Him, draw away to pray. Do not be anxious for nothing, do not fear for I AM WITH YOU NOW, and ALWAYS.

Every Now is the time of Salvation. Trust in the Mercy of God and seek His forgiveness. Give His mercy and live His love by forgiving all who have harmed you by word or action. Seek the forgiveness of all those you have hurt too. Don't wait to do that before it is too LATE! Show loved ones you truly care about them. This could lead to the door of their moment of grace to meet God standing there.
He is the ALMIGHTY GOD who can do all things!! And no matter how evil it looks our there---no matter how the darkness grows: THE SON IS always there and NEVER gets weaker or His Light grow dimmer. In fact doesn't the star, the candle shine brighter in the darkest night? SO SHOULD WE!! The world should see we BELIEVE and we KNOW there is a God and nothing shall we fear, as we wait.
We know that before our Bridegroom returns though---there is going to be very great trails and tribulations. We are seeing it already occurring in the way Mother Nature is in labor as she waits for the birth of a new world. The elements of nature, in the earthquakes, the floods, the winds, the rain, the storms that howl and roar!! We are seeing it all on a daily occurence it seems.
We know that before our Bridegroom returns though---there is going to be very great trails and tribulations. We are seeing it already occurring in the way Mother Nature is in labor as she waits for the birth of a new world. The elements of nature, in the earthquakes, the floods, the winds, the rain, the storms that howl and roar!! We are seeing it all on a daily occurence it seems.
(Oh, by the way, if I lived in a low lying easy to flood area, or where tornados hit---I would be very prepared to evacuate fast, have a plan! Have all vital paperwork in a special Bag or backpack ready to grab and go. Medicines too--for you never know--so be wise.)
Why we wait though, at the TOP of our list should be daily Scripture reading and PRAYER, the Sacraments, Mass and Adoration as we prepare for His Coming. Jesus said in Mathew 13, "So it shall be at the end of the world, the angels shall go out and shall separate the wicked from among the just, and shall cast them into the furnace of fire."
We want the angels to see us, as His people, His chosen ones, or the Just--do we not? Of course we do! Therefore as we wait let us be in His Kingdom ALREADY--doing all that He has said to do to be in His Kingdom. Or as Mary put it, "Do whatsoever, He tells you to do," as we wait, and pray.

Beloved, the end is near ---eventually. You cannot argue that, can you? But not the end, but a new beginning in the Reign of God on earth.

Born the youngest of nine children, raised VERY Catholic across the street from Immaculate Heart of Mary church and school—Mom and Dad led by example and word their FAITH in God and saw to it that I was given 12 years of Catholic Education. (Mount St. Mary’s Academy/1965)

Our life together has been one awesome up and down roller coaster ride which enriched my heart with so many of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. I have found that the only way, Wisdom, Understanding, Words of Knowledge, Discernment, and Healing can be received is first by experiencing in your life the hurts of others. (and you yourself a sword will pierce)* so that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.” Luke 2 v 35.
God has blessed me also many other talents and skills--but sometimes, blessings/gifts can and have caused problems or conflict in my life, as I am human and all too quickly that part of me shows up. Thank You God that You also show up!
