Who Is My Enemy?
GOOD MORNING!!!
A greeting used by the multitudes, every day. Or "Have a blessed day."
But what makes a morning 'good,' or a day 'blessed?' Or, what is the "Lord's Day," that we are supposed to keep?
When we think good, we probably think a morning that is nice, weather good, things running smoothly or NO PROBLEMS! The same with a 'blessed day,' all is well and God is sending 'good' stuff our way. Oh, oh. there is that word 'good' again. Again, what makes a morning 'good,' or the 'Lord's Day, or Blessed?'
If everything must be hunky dory to make it 'good,' is that really how we are blessed? Is the Lord's day only Sunday? Or could it be that good comes from a trial, a tribulation and we are blessed when we see every day as a DAY that the Lord has made for us to rejoice and be glad in NO MATTER WHAT comes ours way.
Look at the reading--"Therefore, I bear with everything for the sake of those who are chosen, so that they too may obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus, together with eternal glory." from 2 Timothy.
When we see any trial or suffering as an opportunity to pray for someone or as a gift to bring us understanding, wisdom, compassion, and discernment ---all gifts from God---then YES THIS IS GOOD and we are BLESSED!. Because we suffer, others can be helped along the way somehow, someway.
Final word is from God Himself--- this one from Thessolonians. "In all circumstances, give thanks, for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus."
Do this and we will be blessed, we will see good and we will walk with the Lord in His way, His day.
Ya'll have good day now ya hear.
