The world needs God. Will you be a vessel to bring God into the world?
We have to be realistic. Troubles come into our lives. Sometimes, we can feel as though our lives are nothing but troubles. This is not how it was intended, but the consequence of sin. We affect each other with our sins. We are not solitary beings. What we do affects others? What others do affects us as well? And if you look around and see the sin in this world and your own life, it is easy to see why we have troubles.
But that is not the final word. Sure, this life may be filled with troubles, but it also has blessings. We get the “smell the roses” moments. So, STOP! And smell the roses. It is a foretaste of the goodness that God has planned for you. Like getting ready to eat a meal, but mom lets you have a taste before its done. It is all the better and so much more plentiful when it is mealtime.
Troubles will come. Jesus died on the Cross. While He was bringing goodness to the world, some did not want to hear it. We may not hang on a cross, but we will feel like it sometimes. BUT our troubles are temporary. As terrible and unending as they may at times, they are only temporary. There are NO troubles in Heaven. We have hope even with the troubles comes, because we have a God bigger than our troubles and He does not let any of them follow us to Heaven.
Jesus, help us face our troubles and know that they are only temporary. Help us to trust in You and hope in Heaven where are troubles will be gone.
