Abortion and Empowerment
I have been watching you throughout this whole impeachment process, and the more you speak, my anger grows.
You say one of the reasons you want to impeach President Trump is “for the children,” because he is a threat. Threat? YOU are the threat, Speaker Pelosi. You are the one that supports abortion. You are the one refusing to vote for born-alive protection for babies surviving abortion.
How can you, with a clear conscience, claim to be a devout Catholic? How can you walk up the church aisle and accept the Eucharist knowing you have no problem with babies being ripped from the mother’s womb in pieces or during late-term procedures injected with poison? What about the innocent ones left on a cold metal table who survived an abortion who are struggling to breathe while doctors and nurses just let them die?
What goes through your mind when you take the body of Christ in your mouth and sip His blood? Do you actually believe you deserve that wondrous sacrament, or are you secretly ashamed knowing you are partaking in a constant state of sin? Have you ever confessed your cooperation in abortion? If so, you must have heard the priest say, “sin no more.” Do you think it doesn't apply to you? You have the unmitigated gall to continually assert no one is above the law. Well, Speaker Pelosi, you need to look in the mirror - no one is above God’s law either - including YOU. Hearing you proudly identify yourself as a Catholic while violating His law is beyond belief. I do not doubt your pride, but the hypocrisy is incontrovertible.
Some may say I am judgmental, but I’m not. I have a hard time seeing a Catholic in a leadership position setting such a bad example and I am confident others do as well. Your stance on abortion is not just a threat to the unborn; it undermines what faithful Catholic parents, priests, and Catechism teachers are trying to teach children to respect life.
I may be angry but that will not dissuade me from praying for your conversion of heart and the hearts of all who advocate the culture of death.
