Five Non-Negotiable Issues
I wrote an article not too long ago in another publication regarding the drastic changes in the Democrat party. The worst change was their position on abortion. A baby surviving a botched abortion? No problem. In a recent interview, Pete Buttigieg actually had the gall to say, if that baby is deformed or disabled, “it is up to the mother and her doctors.” Really? Since when do mortals play God? Listen to the candidates. No limits on abortion, none. They are all on the same death train.
On to the scope of this article: Pro-Life Democrats.
Pro-Life Democrat is the most substantial contradiction of terms ever. In travels to pro-life events all over the country, I have met several wonderful and well-meaning people who consider themselves Pro-Life Democrats. They are very frustrated with the direction of their party but hold firm to their Democrat designation. I see the hope in their eyes that things will change, but this is a progressive-contaminated party and the only change will be further down into darkness. Look who is really at the helm. It’s not Pelosi. It’s all the far-left progressives that want to, as I have said countless times, unravel the moral fabric of our country …. thread by thread.
Dedicated to the sanctity of life? Walk the walk. Support the party that stands up for life. There may be a pro-life Democrats in political offices, but they have no voice. I wouldn’t be surprised that in the future they will no longer be allowed to stay in the party, let alone run on the ticket (that is if it isn’t happening already, behind the scenes).
The common Democrat assertion is, “I like what the party stands for, except for abortion. It’s only one issue, and you have to look at the big picture.” That only one issue is a child. The big picture is a child in the womb can be indiscriminately destroyed, never having a chance at life.
I mean no disrespect, but it needs to be said … Being pro-life means that life, from conception to natural death, is first and foremost. There is no compromise. Either you are or aren’t. It’s that simple.
