Everyday, something unexpected pops into your life. sometimes it is only a minor bump in the road ---sometimes it is a pain---a severe pain in the chest that turns out to be a heart attack, a trip to the hospital and stent placement the next day. Home again and off again to what is next that will come into your life.
All of a sudden an overwhelming sadness hit me today, and as I gaze at the picture of Jesus on the wall, I asked "Lord, what well we be facing next? Every day a day older, and my husband has multiple health problems. Only You know my Lord, what will we be facing next?" Immediately thoughts flow into my mind.
"You will always be facing uncertainty---that is life. As time passes there will undoubtedly be more health issues, more aging process, more news from the family, good and bad---more of LIFE. More of whatever will come. But you also know, that My Promises have always been a CERTAIN FACT in your lives. "I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS--DO NOT BE AFRAID."
God has got us in His hands, and it is crucial for all, as we go forward into the future--that we believer this truth. We will definitely be facing the uncertain events that WILL happen. Things that we cannot control, but by the grace of God we can face them with the full confidence that we can trust in His love for us to see us through whatever we have to do or whatever load we must carry. God is WITH US to help us carry that load. He does not break His promises, He does not lie!!
I am going to say this truth too---there is another Promise Jesus made.
"I shall return."
But, before He can return ----a multitude of events WILL happen and are happening now in our lifetime. It has already gotten very bad with the extreme weather events, the fire events, flooding, now the virus scare, food will become scarcer due to all of these. There is an increase in anger and hate resulting in more crime. All those babies being aborted--well as God put it---"do you think I am blind to how you are treating your 'brothers'?"
We are also going to be facing more persecutions because of our faith in God. Christians are already facing this in other countries--even martyrdom. ALL of which is prophesied in different places in the Bible, even by our Lord Himself.
But again, God is reminding us on a daily basis, "Do not fear, I am already here, I will take care of you and see you through whatever problem you are facing. I am with you--ALWAYS."
Daily we MUST pray, we MUST trust, we MUST obey. We MUST seek Him in His Word--so we KNOW what His Plan and His will is for our life. Do not take God for granted, or this life for granted. Neither should you think that His second coming will not be in your lifetime. "Are you sure about that?" Everyday is one day sooner, either for His coming or for your going. Our New Beginning is one day closer everyday of our life.
If God is not active and present in your life now--you may just miss the big event when Jesus does return again. There are no coincidences as Gibbs puts it. Everything is connected and all is connected to God working in our lives and His plans unfolding for our future. Now that fact is for CERTAIN!! Let us face ALL with full confidence and trust--what He promises---will happen.
