NOW is the TIME---NOT TO FEAR!!!

Now is the time to LIVE the FAITH we PROFESS!! This is an open letter to all Bishops and Priests who may be wondering what will we decide, what will we speak to the faithful concerning the "Coronavirus." What will be do to make sure we as Catholics do not spread this sickness.
Well start with the Name of Jesus-- In 1432, Msgr. Andrea Dias exhorted his faithful to call on the Name of Jesus in Prayer, and write Jesus on a card and put it under their pillows. The whole town was spared of the plague and those sick were healed when prayer for in The Sacred Name of Jesus. Read about it in this link.
Next, this Easter bless twice as much HOLY WATER so the faithful can take it home to bless themselves coming and going. There used to be a holy water font at every entry way of the homes, and we were encouraged to bless ourselves. PLEASE do not think we must empty those Holy Water fonts at church as some did in 2009 and 2010 during flu season. IF we BELIEVE that the devil hates Holy Water then the virus will not live in H0LY WATER either ---IF WE BELIEVE what we profess to be TRUE. Remember--we believe in GOD THE FATHER THE ALMIGHTY!!
Already I am hearing of rumors about how to distribute the Holy Eucharist and receiving from the Chalice the BLOOD OF JESUS. Well for those who 'fear' they may catch something if receiving from the Cup---then don't receive from the Cup. BUT I personally believe that the BLOOD of JESUS is healing and no evil can be in HIS PRESENSE. So if we want to be spiritually strong, physically healthy--then NOW is the time to go to Mass faithfully (unless you are sick) and LIVE OUR FAITH. Also go to Confession more often as that also is a way to be more immune to sickness. ILLNESS feeds on NEGATIVITY--so let us check our attitudes, behaviors and what we believe to be true---daily!
Would it not be a powerful statement of our Catholic faith if the world notices that for 'some' reason we are protected or healed from this virus? Now is the TIME for we the faithful to be the LIGHT that shines brightly in the dark fear that is spreading all over this world. Thank God there ARE FAITHFUL CATHOLICS ALL OVER THE WORLD!!! 1.3 BILLION! So let us believe, let us pray faithfully even more for God's help and protection.
FINALLY---it is time to put on the whole ARMOR OF GOD! Ephesians 6. v 10 -17
Battle against Evil.
10* Finally, draw your strength from the Lord and from His mighty power.
11Put on the armor of God so that you may be able to stand firm against the tactics of the devil.
12For our struggle is not with flesh and blood but with the principalities, with the powers, with the world rulers of this present darkness, with the evil spirits in the heavens.
13Therefore, put on the armor of God, that you may be able to resist on the evil day and, having done everything, to hold your ground.
14So stand fast with your loins girded in truth, clothed with righteousness as a breastplate,
15and your feet shod in readiness for the gospel of peace.
16In all circumstances, hold faith as a shield, to quench all [the] flaming arrows of the evil one.
17And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
Now is the TIME to LIVE your FAITH, "do NOT FEAR" and be the LIGHT in this DARK WORLD!!!!!

Born the youngest of nine children, raised VERY Catholic across the street from our church and school—Mom and Dad led by example and word their FAITH in God and saw to it that I was given 12 years of Catholic Education. (Mount St. Mary’s Academy/1965)

My husband Robert and I have been married for 50 this year in a marriage arranged by God. We have 8 children, two in heaven, 24 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. Our life together has been one awesome up and down roller coaster ride which enriched my heart with so many of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. I have found that the only way, Wisdom, Understanding, Words of Knowledge, Discernment, and Healing can be received is first by experiencing in your life the hurts of others. (and you yourself a sword will pierce)* so that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.” Luke 2 v 35.
God has blessed me also many other talents and skills--but sometimes, blessings/gifts can and have caused problems or conflict in my life, as I am human and all too quickly that part of me shows up. Thank You God that You also show up!
