Is anyone else totally dismayed at the situation in Rome, and some other places right now. Seriously, they are cancelling the Sacraments. The city of Rome is in the midst of a "catastrophic event" and they are cancelling the Sacraments.
It totally makes sense though. Fear has taken a grip on this city and many others, countries as well. As a virus breaks out and the media has totally blown the situation out of proportion, instilling terror and fear in the whole world, evidently. Isn't it a shame that we have more faith in a media, that we KNOW, spews lies and fake stories, than we do our God. Isn't it a shame that we lack trust in God so much, that Clergy would cease to administer the Mass and the Sacraments, succumbing to that fear and panic.
Or, is this exactly what the media, and some clergy actually want and have been plotting for. The chance to prevent the Faithful from accessing God in the way that He has dictated and instituted. It is a fact that our Church has been at the mercy of fallen clerics who spew heresy, blasphemy and profane out Lord in multitudes of ways each and every day, were these same Clerics just waiting for an excuse to pull the plug on Christ's greatest gifts to the Church? We are living in remarkable times!
In the wake of what many, whether erroneously or not, deem to be an epidemic of catastrophic proportions, which I don't personally buy into, we commit apostasy. Okay, you might think that is over-reaching, but is it really? God proclaims for us to "Do Not Be Afraid" 365 times in the Scriptures, yet as soon as we are challenged we close the Churches and quit the Sacraments. Well, that makes total sense to me, NOT. To me that equates to denying Christ, and walking away from the true and only saving medicine we have, and will ever have.
How has it come to this? In past times, Christians and Clergy have put themselves at risk and peril to serve the Faithful, this victims of plagues and illnesses that were actually substantiated and not sensationalized. They did this out of duty and love of ones neighbor and service to Christ, now the doors are closed. I guess in a time when our Hearts are closed to Christ, it isn't that difficult to close our doors as well. This is way more dangerous than any supposed viral epidemic. It's an epidemic that kills the soul, not just the body. This terror will last for eternity.
The common flu kills 20,000 to 40.000 people each and every year. Heart disease kills more than that. Why is there no reactionary panic and terror instilled due to the occurrences of these diseases? We actually have cures, vaccines and preventative measures for these diseases, yet nobody uses them, or even takes the time to learn about them in most cases. We have epidemics of obesity and slothfulness, the availability of vaccines and sanitary practices that could impede the occurrence of so many illnesses both physical and mental that are neglected and even villify every day, yet we are going to close schools, business and Sacraments for this. Satan has fooled the masses with this lie and deceit, it is telling that so many clergy are playing into his hands as well. Thank about the direction our Church has taken over the last several decades.
It seems to me that Rome, and the rest of the world, needs the Mass, now more than ever. They need God not because of this virus, but because of the effects it seems to be having on the world right now. We have all gone mad; and the devil rejoices.
