What God Promises --He Does!

You may be wondering WHY am I writing reflections on Revelation? Because I told to do so by God, whose Inner Voice I have been listening to since age 12. (http://www.catholic365.com/article/4371/who-said-that-who-said-that.html )
2 Be watchful and strengthen what is left, which is going to die, for I have not found your works complete in the sight of my God.
3 Remember then how you accepted and heard; keep it, and repent. If you are not watchful, I will come like a thief, and you will never know at what hour I will come upon you.
5 The victor will thus be dressed in white,* and I will never erase his name from the book of life but will acknowledge his name in the presence of my Father and of his angels.
6 Whoever has ears ought to hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”’
7 “To the angel of the church in Philadelphia,* write this: “‘The holy one, the true,
who holds the key of David, who opens and no one shall close, who closes and no one shall open, says this:
8 I know your works (behold, I have left an open door* before you, which no one can close). You have limited strength, and yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name.
9 Behold, I will make those of the assembly of Satan who claim to be Jews and are not, but are lying, behold I will make them come and fall prostrate at your feet, and they will realize that I love you.
10 Because you have kept my message of endurance,* I will keep you safe in the time of trial that is going to come to the whole world to test the inhabitants of the earth.
11 I am coming quickly. Hold fast to what you have, so that no one may take your crown.
12 The victor I will make into a pillar* in the temple of my God, and he will never leave it again. On him I will inscribe the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from my God, as well as my new name.
13 Whoever has ears ought to hear what the Spirit says to the churches."
I do not think there is any need to add to what is written here---His words speak plainly what He wants us to hear.
I do want to add that I failed to mention about "Hidden manna" that is spoke of in Revelation 2 v 17 "o the victor I shall give some of the hidden manna" My heart tells me that the faithful should daily make a Spiritual Communion and believe they will receive what they cannot SEE. We believe in what is unseen--we proclaim it in the Nicaean Creed, don't we? Peace be with you always, and it will be for God is with you always.
Going into Revelation Chapter 3---Oh what comfort we shall find.

About the Author
Born the youngest of nine children, raised VERY Catholic across the street from our church and school—Mom and Dad led by example and word their FAITH in God and saw to it that I was given 12 years of Catholic Education. (Mount St. Mary’s Academy/1965)
But, most importantly, because of my parents’ spiritual renewal after attending Cursillo Weekends, I too went on a retreat at our beloved Subiaco Abbey in Arkansas and there, at age 20, gave my life totally, surrendering all to my Lord and best Friend. This was my “Pentecostal” event that left me, like all the early Christians, on fire with God’s love and forever changed.
My husband Robert and I have been married for 50 this year in a marriage arranged by God. We have 8 children, two in heaven, 24 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. The story of our life together can be found in a book titled “My Journey, My Cross-As the Journals End,” published by Westbow Press . Our life together has been one awesome up and down roller coaster ride which enriched my heart with so many of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. I have found that the only way, Wisdom, Understanding, Words of Knowledge, Discernment, and Healing can be received is first by experiencing in your life the hurts of others. (and you yourself a sword will pierce)* so that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.” Luke 2 v 35.
God has blessed me also many other talents and skills--but sometimes, blessings/gifts can and have caused problems or conflict in my life, as I am human and all too quickly that part of me shows up. Thank You God that You also show up!
