Wait and See---Good Things Will Come to You---Wait and See
Why would God be leading us to reflect on Revelation Readings? Some would be thinking that the author is talking a "Dooms Day Scenerio." How about a "Wondrous Day of All DAYS"---scenerio? We who believe should be very excited as time ticks down!!!
When I read The Word of God--it EXCITES me to read all about His Love for us, His Promises, and how He is always here for us in our daily life. Nothing in our hearts should be thinking 'gloom, dispair and angony on me.'
Is this the end times, the days leading up to His Second Coming? Before we go there, let me go back to what was taught to me some years ago about the Book of Revelation. All of the messages found in Revelation 'BEGAN to BE FULFILLED' after John wrote those messages down.
Chapter 4 especially is an great example of that. The Vision John sees describe Heaven to me--The Thone, the elders, the saints and angels praising God. Heaven, like God has always been--not something that begins when we die.
And then there are those creatures--spoken of also in Ezekial chapter 1.
"c In front of the throne was something that resembled a sea of glass like crystal.* In the center and around the throne, there were four living creatures covered with eyes in front and in back.
7 The first creature resembled a lion, the second was like a calf (or bull), the third had a face like that of a human being, and the fourth looked like an eagle* in flight." ( "these symbolize, respectively, what is noblest, strongest, wisest, and swiftest in creation. Calf: traditionally translated “ox,” the Greek word refers to a heifer or young bull. Since the second century, these four creatures have been used as symbols of the evangelists Mark, Luke, Matthew, and John, respectively.")
*Interesting to me, before I read the notes at the bottom of the page in the Bible, the thoughts came into my mind that these creatures represented, the courageous, the strong, the intelligent and the ones who could soar by the grace of God on wings of love and faith.
As we go into Chapter 5 we are told of the seven seals that only Christ can open. This chapter also continues to describe Heaven and who is there. Angels and saints, and "every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, everything in the universe, cry out."
I have always believed that Heaven will be ALL that was created by God for us to enjoy for all of eternity--and oh won't it be awesome!!
Continuing to read in Chapter 6--We read of the four horses--The white one on which Christ rides going from victory to victory all over the earth. He indeed has done that, though Love, and the spreading of the Good News ---souls have been won for Him in every nation and under every tongue.
The Red Horse--goes forth in battle and that we have had--War after war!
The Black Horse goes with Justice--and that definitely has happened day after day. The scale of justice sometimes unbalanced in the way humans have been treated by others.
The the Green Horse--DEATH! Its rider was named Death, and Hades accompanied him. They were given authority over a quarter of the earth, to kill with sword, famine, and plague, and by means of the beasts of the earth.
NOW that definitely has been happening for the past 2000 plus years.
So, just as Christ is the Alpha the Omega--the Beginning and the End--so is Revelation. Like the All of the Books in the Bible, and God's messages to us--they are LIVING Words. As Christ told us--"Whoever has ears ought to hear what the Spirit says" to we His Church.
So pray about these messages, seek wisdom and ask yourself --are we in the end days? Well we know we definitely are heading to our end ---every day one day sooner for our eternity to come. Oh what a glorious DAY that SHOULD be for us!! We also know--"I am with You ALWAYS."

9
When he broke open the fifth seal, I saw underneath the altar* the souls of those who had been slaughtered because of the witness they bore to the word of God.
10
They cried out in a loud voice, “How long will it be, holy and true master,* before you sit in judgment and avenge our blood on the inhabitants of the earth?”
11
Each of them was given a white robe, and they were told to be patient a little while longer until the number was filled of their fellow servants and brothers who were going to be killed as they had been.
