"Don't Give Up--Keep Trying!"

DON'T GIVE UP!!!!
It seems daily, we come under the sneaky attack in our mind the words that will discourage you. Words like-"Oh what is the use, who cares what I do, or say." Everyone is seems, is into their own little world and any attempts to reach out to them seems to be unwanted or appreciated. "We don't want to hear about what God thinks, or what He has to say."
NOT TRUE, but that is how the sneaky snake likes to plant words that he hopes will stop any effort to share 'GOOD NEWS' or to go and serve in those little ways--doing just ordinary things! Don't listen to him. Use your Sword!!
He almost had me convinced today, but God again in His Mysterious ways 'guided my footsteps.' I called a son to share with him my 'frustrating day.' I also shared a dream I had last night--a dream I now share with you.
In the dream, I am looking at 4 or 5 children of different ages trapped by a "rectangle clear plastic box." Screaming and banging on the walls--wanting to be set free. "HELP US-Get us out!"
I am calling 911 on my cell phone, and cannot get through!! Soon, so are others as they too see the children trapped in the box. None of us can get through!! We are horrified!! Then, I see right in front of me, a 911 OPERATOR ---looking at me. She is saying--"Don't give up, keep trying to connect with ME--so I can send the help needed." The dream ends as the children slump over, dying from lack of air.
Sharing this dream with my son, I realize just what it was all about. I had begun to think that my grandchildren do not want to heed the warnings of becoming entrapped in their 'screen' worlds. Not only my grandchildren but all children and adults, are clueless into how they become the living dead 'zombies' surrounded by that clear plastic world until it is too late.
There are many committing suicides now due to the lack of 'real love' and their self esteem lowered to the point of 'what is the use?'
GOD is again sending dreams to WARN us all!! WAKE UP to this truth. Technology can be used by the devil to destroy your soul and your life. Worst of all, the lives of children, the ones you dearly love.
Do not give up on your part to get the family to once again to gather in play, in work, in prayer!! Whatever you choose to do---DO IT TOGETHER and get them out of that isolation of "doing only for self." True happiness will only come when we do for others, and give of ourselves so others are helped in this world. DON'T GIVE UP. Don't get discouraged either: "I am with you always to give you all you need to do the work I ask you do do. Please Pray, my people, my children, please pray for those lost and not yet found." Born the youngest of nine children, raised VERY Catholic across the street from Immaculate Heart of Mary church and school—Mom and Dad led by example and word their FAITH in God and saw to it that I was given 12 years of Catholic Education. (Mount St. Mary’s Academy/1965)
But, most importantly, because of my parents’ spiritual renewal after attending Cursillo Weekends, I too went on a retreat at our beloved Subiaco Abbey in Arkansas and there, at age 20, gave my life totally, surrendering all to my Lord and best Friend. This was my “Pentecostal” event that left me, like all the early Christians, on fire with God’s love and forever changed.
My husband Robert and I have been married for 54 this year in a marriage arranged by God. We have 8 children, two in heaven, 24 grandchildren, and 28 great-grandchildren. The story of our life together can be found in a book titled “My Journey, My Cross-As the Journals End,” published by Westbow Press . Our life together has been one awesome up and down roller coaster ride which enriched my heart with so many of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. I have found that the only way, Wisdom, Understanding, Words of Knowledge, Discernment, and Healing can be received is first by experiencing in your life the hurts of others. (and you yourself a sword will pierce)* so that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.” Luke 2 v 35.
God has blessed me also many other talents and skills--but sometimes, blessings/gifts can and have caused problems or conflict in my life, as I am human and all too quickly that part of me shows up. Thank You God that You also show up!
