The pornography pandemic of 2020

The Covid-19 pandemic has dominated the news over the past few months, as everyone well knows. It is hard to find anything not affected by the shutdowns and the social distancing rules. People are more isolated, more lonely, more depressed and most businesses are suffering. One business however is booming, and that is the online porn industry.

Pornography numbers since the lockdowns started are up a staggering 20% since March 2020. In 2019, the most popular pornography website boasted 49 billion unique searches in one year from over 2.5 billion unique users. This is just one website. The amount of men addicted to pornography in America and throughout the world is absolutely out of control, and the pandemic is making it much, much worse. These deeply distressing statistical analyses on this pornography website also boasted that they have received traffic in the millions from every established country in the entire world. Never in history has the sexualization of society been so thorough, unfiltered and defining, and its result is what we are seeing today. Weak men, a weak family structure, and a society that is tearing itself apart.

If you wish to protect your family and wish to not clash with this underground pandemic, you must do something radical in the eyes of society. Something unheard of. Get rid of technology in your home. Not just the TV; phones, the internet, ipods and ipads. Think about it, up until about 20 years ago we survived without it! We can today as well. If phones are required for work, they can stay in the car. Landline phones are still available to keep in contact with friends and loved ones! It may take some adjusting, but if there is a will there is a way.

Before you ask, filters and monitoring apps do not work. I have experimented with most out there and every one, even the paid subscriptions, can be easily bypassed with a simple google search. “How to bypass X app” and detailed instructions immediately pop up. If you are serious in wishing to protect your boys from pornography, you must get rid of technology in the home.

The next thing you must do is have a devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. Say the 3 Hail Mary’s for purity every morning and every evening. This is a very powerful devotion that gives faithful Catholic families the virtues of purity, modesty and chastity. I beg of you at the minimum say this devotion and you will be saved from much heartache, heartbreak, and may save your children from becoming broken by the cruel and vile filth that will steal their innocence and cause a lifetime of pain. The die has been cast, it is your time to make this decision. If you wish to raise a good family in the 21^st century, you must be radical, defiant and boldly Catholic. If you do not, there will be a heavy price to pay.
