Eternal Salvation - In the Balance of Politics

The malice and contempt that we have been witnessing and suffering from so much in our cities, neighborhoods and streets over the past few months have been surprising and pretty disturbing to me. It seems surreal that people can rise to such levels of violence and anger while protesting against the very violence and anger they so vehemently object to, if that is what they truly object to.
There is a lot more going on right now in our country than our eyes can see or our hearts can understand. The wars being waged are not just physical, these are spiritual wars being led by Satan himself. Some of this warfare is pretty obvious, other aspects are more subtle and innocuous. Unfortunately many among us are falling for the deceit and lies cast and spread by Satan and his cronies, and it will be to the detriment not just of their own souls but to many other souls as well.
It is amazing the magnitude and effort that so called Catholics will take to justify and defend their sins, and not just venial sins, but mortal sins as described by the Catechism as taught by the Church. It would be better for these individuals to just leave the Faith, than to continue in their profanation of it by trying to validate issues such as abortion, same sex marriage, embryonic stem cell research, human cloning and euthanasia. These five issues are non-negotiable, and no Catholic in good conscience can vote for politicians who plan to promote and further the agendas and continuance of these practices. These issues are foundational to every single social justice issue known to us, and until we defeat these practices no other social justice issue will ever be solved and justly ministered to. These five issues are foundational because they deal with the most basic and simple aspects of the development and respect for life, life that God alone creates and we are called to defend and nurture, and respect at all costs. Issues such as education, the death penalty, and hunger, to name just a few are important rights which validity are sourced and stem from the five non-negotiable issues outlined by the Church. Until we can honestly and genuinely stand up in defense of these issues, evil will prevail in the country at every single level, because the evil of these issues will proliferate and reign in the hearts of our country and the evil in those hearts and against God will ultimately lead to this great country's climate of destruction and ruin. We are already well on the way.
So, as I reflect on these thoughts, I realize that the malice, hatred and viciousness on both sides of the coin are really pretty understandable. There is so much at stake, our very religious freedoms, and ultimately the most basic freedom to life is in the very balance. The war between good and evil is raging, and there are no rules to this warfare. The Devil operates outside the scope of Truth, and his minions are hell bent on carrying out his attacks. They are out to destroy and ruin souls, destruction of life is not enough for them, they are out to destroy the very eternal salvation of souls - which is the highest stake imaginable. No wonder the viciousness is so strong and vile - the stakes could not be any higher.

I have recently served for a year and a half as the Executive Director of a very active and busy Crisis Pregnancy Center on the West side of Cincinnati. God is so good and does answers prayers, even though He knows at times, we have no idea what we are asking for. The pro life cause is paramount to our times, I am so honored and humbled to have had the experience and opportunity to serve women and the unborn in this capacity! I am also very grateful to God, for allowing me to see for myself, that perhaps such a calling was not His long term plan for me. We go where God seeminly calls us, and for me, that was a return to corporate America. I currently work as a recruiter and sales onboarding specialist where I am helping a Franchising company open and support small businesses that serve seniors and the elderly, giving them opportunities to age in place and live thier final chapters with dignity. It is the other end of the pro life spectrum and such an amazing endeavor!
I love being able to share this great faith of ours and use this platform as a way to express my deep love and devotion to our Lord. We need each other, and this effort has truly become a wonderful way to connect with all of you- my brothers and sisters in Christ!
