Adam and Eve, Abraham and Isaac and the Place called Calvary
The key to understanding the timetable that frames the events of our day starts with an understanding of what happened to Pope Leo XIII on October 13, 1884. On that day Pope Leo XIII was leaving the altar after celebrating daily Mass when he stopped and stood still for about 10 minutes as his face turned ashen white. He then immediately left the altar and penned the famous Prayer to Saint Michael. There were a few Cardinals along with others from the Pope's staff that witnessed this event.
When he was asked what had happened, he explained that as he was leaving the altar, he heard coming from the tabernacle, 2 voices, the guttural voice of Satan and the calming, gentle voice of God. Satan was bragging to God that he could destroy his Church on earth if he were given a maximum of 100 years and more power over those who give themselves to him. Pope Leo XIII said that he then heard God respond and say, "You have the time and you have the power. Do with them what you will." The Pope was further made to understand that if the world turned to Saint Michael, that Saint Michael would defend them from this 100 year onslaught that Satan would inflict on the world. So in 1886, Pope Leo XIII ordered that this Prayer to Saint Michael be said after every low Mass.
Before the Second Vatican Council, the Catholic Mass was called the Tridentine Mass and was celebrated by the Priest in Latin. There were two types of the Tridentine Mass, the high Mass and the low Mass. The high Mass included the playing of an organ, lots of singing, incense and in most cases more than one deacon. Think of the high Mass as being for special occasions and the low Mass as the normal everyday Mass. So some might ask whether the high Mass is considered like the Mass on Sunday and the low Mass considered the daily Mass. This is not quite accurate but it is interesting that we might think that way because this is how most faithful parishes apply the praying of the Prayer to Saint Michael today. Those parishes that say the prayer do designate it to be said after every daily Mass but not after every Sunday Mass.
But now this is where it gets interesting. The Prayer to Saint Michael was said in all parishes around the world from 1886 until just after Vatican II completed. After 1969 with the issuing of the Novus Ordo Mass or what we might call, the New Mass, the Prayer to Saint Michael was no longer included at the end of any Mass. So for a few decades, this prayer was ignored around the world. Many point to this as being the reason why so many Catholics fell away from attendance at Sunday Mass and from the practice of the faith as a whole. The Church stopped asking Saint Michael to defend it and so they were left vulnerable to Satan's vicious plan to destroy the Church.
So now we might ask, how do we know when the 100 years that Pope Leo XIII was made aware of, starts and ends. That's a great question. And this is what most people miss. In the Bible, there are a select number of books that have something to say about the end times. In the Old Testament we have the books of Ezekiel and Daniel, and in the New Testament we have certain Gospels, and letters of Saint Paul and of course the book of Revelation. In the Old Testament book of Daniel chapter 12 verse 1, we see written there:
‘At that time there shall arise Michael, the great prince, guardian
of your people; it shall be a time unsurpassed in distress since the
nation began until that time. At that time your people shall escape,
everyone who is found written in the book.'
This is a reference to Saint Michael and his role as protector of the people of God in the end times. He is then mentioned several times in the book of Revelation, so we know that Michael plays a key role at the end. The 100 years that were communicated to Pope Leo XIII are the 100 years that define the end times. And that is why he was prompted to pen the Prayer to Saint Michael; precisely because this prayer fulfills this prophecy of Daniel and this prayer is the one that the faithful would use to turn to Michael for help. So not praying that prayer allowed Satan to advance his plan and proceed with little resistance. And he did make great strides during that time when the prayer was neglected. It is only recently that this prayer has made a comeback and is once again being utilized in Churches around the world.
Recall that the vision of Pope Leo XIII occurred on October 13, 1884. And you might think what's in a date? But the date is the key to the mystery. When God does something, he does it at a given time and place for a reason. It's a blueprint. Most people assume that the 100 years began on the day Pope Leo had his vision. But that is not how God works. In his Mercy, God gives the world information in advance so the people have time to prepare. How far in advance? Consider this.
Most are aware of the apparitions of Our Blessed Mother that occurred in Fatima, Portugal in 1917. She appeared to three children ages 7, 9 and 10 on the thirteenth of each month for six consecutive months starting on May 13, 1917 and ending on October 13, 1917. It is not a coincidence that the final date of the apparitions corresponds to the date when Pope Leo XIII had his experience. Because it was on that day, that 70,000 people witnessed an event that became known as The Miracle of the Sun.
For 12 minutes the sun danced in the sky while throwing off all sorts of colors onto the people and the surrounding landscape, climaxing with the sun being thrust forward as though it would fall to the earth. Most people that were there were skeptical of the apparitions until this event took place. The next day it was written about in major newspapers. For several hours before the sun revealed itself in the sky, the entire area was hit with torrential rains soaking the people. After the miracle, the ground and the people were completely dry. This was one of the greatest proven miracles in the history of the world but remarkably in our day, very few people talk about it or even know about it and yet it was only slightly more than 100 years ago.
Now, let's do the math. How many years to the day transpired from the time Pope Leo XIII had his vision to the time The Miracle of the Sun took place? 33 years to the day!
That number should mean something to us. The number 3 represents the Triune God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. It also applies to any combination of 3 as with 33 or 333. Here is proof using examples from the Bible.
• King David is King of Israel for 40 years but his reign in Jerusalem
is 33 years.
• Jonah is in the belly of the whale for 3 days and 3 nights.
• The 9th plague (9 is 3 3s) is 3 days of darkness.
• Elijah proclaimed a 3 year drought on God's authority. In the 3rd
year of the drought, on Mount Carmel, Elijah challenges King Ahab
and his 450 prophets of Baal. He does this to demonstrate the power
of the one true God in the presence of the Israelites who had been
summoned by the King. 3 times he has his sacrifice doused with water
before calling down fire from Heaven to consume the offering.
• Elijah stretched himself out upon the Widow's dead child 3 times
and called out to the LORD: "LORD, my God, let the life breath
return to the body of this child." The LORD heard the prayer of
Elijah; the life breath returned to the child's body and he lived.
• God gives King David a choice of 3 punishments for his sin of taking
an unauthorized census of Israel – 3 years of famine, 3 months
of fleeing before his enemies, or 3 days of plague. King David chose
the 3rd.
• Daniel defied the order of King Darius by kneeling in prayer to give
thanks to God in his upper chamber 3 times a day with the windows
open toward Jerusalem.
• Mary stayed with Elizabeth for 3 months.
• The 3 Kings are present after the birth of Jesus.
• Jesus is lost in the Temple for 3 days at the age of 12.
• Jesus begins his public ministry at the age of 30 and remains in
public life for 3 years.
• Jesus institutes the Eucharist with the 3rd Cup of the 4 cups of the
Passover Seder Meal, the Cup of Blessing.
• Jesus goes off to pray 3 times in the Garden of Gethsemane as the
Apostles slept.
• Peter denies Jesus 3 times and then later Jesus restores him by asking
him 3 times ‘Do you Love me?'
• Jesus falls 3 times with the Cross.
• There are 3 crosses on the hill of Calvary.
• There are 3 nails on the cross.
• The inscription over the head of Jesus, ‘JESUS THE NAZOREAN,
THE KING OF THE JEWS' is written in 3 languages, Hebrew,
Latin and Greek.
• Jesus is on the cross for 3 hours and dies at the hour of 3:00.
• Jesus dies at the age of 33.
• Jesus rises from the dead on the 3rd day.
• Saint Paul was struck blind for 3 days, was beaten 3 times
with rods by the Romans, was shipwrecked 3 times, spent 3 years
in Damascus and prayed 3 times for the removal of his ‘thorn in
the flesh'.
And there are hundreds more references in the Bible to the number 3. The bottom line is that the number 3 is code for the presence of God and those two events occurring exactly 33 years apart to the day is a sign from God that they are connected. So the 100 years that Satan requested actually started not when Pope Leo XIII received the vision, but exactly 33 years to the day later when The Miracle of the Sun took place. The Miracle of the Sun was a fulfillment of the book of Revelation chapter 12 verse 1 where it states:
‘A great sign appeared in the sky, a woman clothed with the sun,
with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve
stars.'
This is precisely how the children at Fatima described how Our Blessed Mother looked when she appeared to them. Revelation 12 describes a battle that takes place between The Woman Clothed with the Sun and a Huge Red Dragon. And as verified with approved private revelation that occurred later in the century, this miracle served as an announcement to the world that the battle was now joined between these two forces.
What is the Huge Red Dragon you might ask? It's Atheistic Communism.
How do we know that? Communism came into the world with the Bolshevik Revolution in Russia in late 1917 and early 1918. The Bolshevik Revolution came just a few weeks after The Miracle of the Sun took place in Fatima. And guess what country the Blessed Mother told the three children would become the purveyor of evil and grow to spread their errors throughout the world? Russia!
This means then, that Satan's 100 years expired in October of 2017! Now you see the urgency and how the forces of evil are all around us, even from within the Church, and how now more than ever they must be exposed. Satan is now desperate given that his time has expired. He is now throwing every evil at us that he has meticulously developed over those 100 years.
So what must we do? We must fight vigorously with the powerful weapons we possess! When compared with the puny guns possessed by our enemies, our weapons are like atomic canons.
• The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass
• The Rosary
• The Chaplet of Divine Mercy
We must use these weapons and then make a stand to defend the faith with our presence, with our vote and with our voices, putting our total trust in God while never forgetting that everything is possible with God.
Attend Mass during the week as often as possible and pray the Rosary every day along with the recitation of The Chaplet of Divine Mercy, especially between the hours of 3 and 4. This is the hour of mercy when Jesus died for the sins of the world. Utilizing these weapons in this way will serve to mitigate the effects of the dangers we face and diminish the forces of evil that surround us.
And then we tell everyone that will listen, while keeping the instructions of our Lord in Matthew's Gospel printed firmly on our hearts as he sent his Apostles out two by two, just as he sends us today.
"Behold, I am sending you like sheep in the midst of wolves; so be
shrewd as serpents and simple as doves."
We are not alone. The angels and saints are fighting at our side. Listen to the words of Our Lady of La Salette, and let them burn like a fire within us, for these words ring loud and true for all of us today.
"I call on the Apostles of the Last Days, the faithful disciples of Jesus Christ
who have lived in scorn for the world and for themselves, in poverty and
in humility, in scorn and in silence, in prayer and in mortification,
in chastity and in union with God, in suffering and unknown to the
world. It is time they came out and filled the world with light. Go and
reveal yourselves to be my cherished children. I am at your side and
within you, provided that your faith is the light which shines upon you
in these unhappy days. May your zeal make you famished for the glory
and the honor of Jesus Christ. Fight, children of light, you, the few who
can see. For now is the time of all times, the end of all ends."
