“All who die in God’s grace and friendship, but still imperfectly purified, are indeed assured of their eternal salvation; but after death they undergo purification, so as to achieve the holiness necessary to enter the joy of heaven.” (CCC 1030)
There is a 6 Decade Rosary to pray with meditations for the holy souls of priests in purgatory. We, as Roman Catholics, honor the Holy Souls in Purgatory during the month of November, which begins with the Feast of All Saints, on November 1 and All Souls, on November 2. It is of great importance that we pray for the holy souls in purgatory, especially the souls of Catholic priests. We can see from paragraph 1032 of the Catechism of the Catholic Church, “Let us not hesitate to help those who have died and to offer our prayers for them," that we are able to make atonement for dead. Please, accompany me in praying this beautiful devotion for the salvation of the souls of Catholic priests.
The first five decades are meditations on the Sorrowful Mysteries. The final decade is a meditation on the Lord's Holy Wounds and Precious Blood.
