Moving Backward or Moving Forward Towards God.
Looking back, I realized that there were many signs from the Lord that were either missed or not accepting the graces. I felt these signs were to give me peace, to be healthy, and to be content within myself and my life. I always hear this verse – Jesus, I Trust in You!
So this year, I decided not to make any resolutions, but to deepen my relationship with the Lord and also pray my rosary and other prayers daily. I Trust the Lord to guide to me on my path for 2021.
For example, I’ve been working at this job since 2017 and realized I don’t want to work there anymore due to health reasons, even though the job is close to home and helps me pays my bills - that is not the reason. This is a time to reevaluate and figure out what my next plan will be, however, this will be the Lord’s timing, not my timing. I do tend to get impatient with him, but he means well!
I remember this verse…
“Matthew 7:7-12
Ask, Seek, Knock
7 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.
8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.”
I can start by taking baby steps with these goals:
The sky's the limit with these opportunities, doors, and paths and trusting the Lord, even though it can be painful at times. It seemed to me that the jobs I have in the past were not a niche because of the money, or to turn down a job or resign. However, it would be nice if a job opportunity came out of nowhere and came to me in person and said you’re hired! Right now, I still have a long way to go to find a job that I love to do.
In closing, I am very blessed and grateful of what I have in my life. Having a closer relationship with the Lord will help me to love myself, others, and to share the word from the Lord to encourage others.
May God Bless you, your families, and friends with many blessings in 2021.
