Removing Holy Water Fonts During Lent Is Diabolical
“Trust the Plan” should mean, “trust that no matter what evil befalls us, if we ask God and do His will, He will never let us commit apostasy and die outside the state of grace.” It should mean, “our country is so rotten, its people so lukewarm and selfish, that we must trust the God’s mercy and justice may mean, for the sake of souls, to let it raze itself to the ground before He puts an end to the carnage.” If Trump would make a miracle (he’s not Jesus by the way) and “win”, what would we do? Go back to lukewarmness!? Watch the next episode of our show!? Or fight for an END TO ABORTION!? END SODOMY!? We, as a nation and as a Catholic people are rotten. We must stop sitting back and waiting for Trump or God to save our country without us doing as Nineveh did!! (And God saw their works, that they were turned from their evil way: and God had mercy with regard to the evil which he had said that he would do to them, and he did it not. – Jonas 3:10) Look at our Catholic Church! Rottenness! Look at our families and children! Perverse!
Wake up and do the hard thing. We need to stop acting like a bunch of lazy, spoiled limp noodles waiting for someone to save your country! Man Up. Joan Up. Become warriors for Christ, and “put not your trust in princes.” Prepare your souls as we are always called to do.
PSALM 145:
Lauda, anima. We are not to trust in men, but in God alone.
Alleluia, of Aggeus and Zacharias. Praise the Lord, O my soul, in my life I will praise the Lord: I will sing to my God as long as I shall be. Put not your trust in princes: In the children of men, in whom there is no salvation. His spirit shall go forth, and he shall return into his earth: in that day all their thoughts shall perish. Blessed is he who hath the God of Jacob for his helper, whose hope is in the Lord his God:
Who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all things that are in them. Who keepeth truth for ever: who executeth judgment for them that suffer wrong: who giveth food to the hungry. The Lord looseth them that are fettered: The Lord enlighteneth the blind. The Lord lifteth up them that are cast down: the Lord loveth the just. The Lord keepeth the strangers, he will support the fatherless and the widow: and the ways of sinners he will destroy. The Lord shall reign for ever: thy God, O Sion, unto generation and generation.
“A time of love, and a time of hatred. A time of war, and a time of peace.”
[Ecclesiastes 3:8]
Faith means battles; if there are no contests, it is because there are none who desire to contend. –St. Ambrose
