God's Endless Love
Life is Full of 'Why God Why'?
I did a 40 day journal in 2012 and opened to this date 8/25/12 a Sunday. Warning this is a long read--but worth it.
We watched a nature show yesterday about all the weird/freaky quirks of different animals, insects and fish and all speak so loudly of the creativity of God. Only a genius mind could plan all the things that go on for the survival of all the species. Totally amazing---totally.
Today is today, a Sunday and almost the end of August. A hurricane is coming towards Florida and in the news along with the Republican Convention. God help us all. Only three died in Haiti, and a lot more had the inconvenience of life disrupted but only three died. They all lived in tents in certain areas and that could have been a disaster there. But we prayed and God heard the prayers. Some may laugh at that and that is because they have endured great hurts and disappointments in life and therefore are 'angry people.'
"What can I say to these people Lord to help bring them back to love?"
“Life may seem unfair, and you may wonder why an all loving God allows pain, suffering, sickness and death into this all wonderful world that was created specifically for all of mankind to enjoy.
You may have experienced terrible injustices, horrific pain and cruelty and this has left you deeply angry and mad at this all loving God. You may have or still scream out ‘there is no God! You stupid believing fools, for why would this God allow such terrible events to happen.’
The answer to all of these questions in your heart lies in the facts and truth of all of creation. The beauty of all this earth and all that is alive within it, did not just happen, but became over the process of billions of years. The mountains, the rivers, the seas and all on and in it were created carefully, delicately so that the great beauty would become and all that was necessary for the survival of the species would be put into place. This took time, this took great intelligence to design each tiny detail to make sure all would live and survive over the years, especially the species of mankind.
With mankind, there was the necessity of adding the element of free will, common sense, intelligence or reasoning. Man was also given a greater ability to love and experience emotions that will help them in their journey on earth. Some of the lower animals have these abilities but their brains are not as developed as the human being.
It is this higher level of intelligence and the free will given that that brought into this world all that is pain and sorrow, yes even the diseases that were initially not a part of God’s plan for us on earth. His plan was for a heaven to be on earth, yes a paradise. But, because of all that was given to man, especially the emotions and intelligence, mankind choose to desire even more than that was given for their happiness. Man thought that they needed more to be even happier, and their discontent and willful disobedience to the guidelines established for their safety led to the beginning of the destruction of Paradise on earth.
It was out of love for us that all was given, but it was out of greed from us that all was taken away. God though in His love never abandoned us, and is still here for us now should we choose to seek this great source of love and healing balm for all of our inner pain that is causing us such great grief and struggle in our life.
We still have access to “paradise or heaven” on earth but must realize that while here on earth that life includes struggle and hardship for it is from this that we mature in wisdom and grace. It was out of chaos and tumult that the earth was created into great beauty by God’s design. It is from the give and take, the pull and the tug, that the body develops and strengthens and the mind grows in learning and wisdom. It is out of experiencing pain and sorrow the heart deepens in love and understanding and compassion.
A flower grows; a tree reaches to the sky, but not without going through the process of all the elements of nature, which is not always pleasant. All of nature gives glory to God just by their presence on earth. This is a lesson for us too. We, just because we exist and live, we can be reflection of the Creator who designed us and placed within us His Image which is the ability to love.
What is the great difference between mankind and the rest of creation? It is our ability to choose. Without this ability we could not truly LOVE and be an imitation of God’s love.
It is truly sad that you have experienced the evil and hate from another; who received this pain from yet another in their life. But, just like in disease and illness there is a treatment, a cure for this pain. Come and seek out the great Physician who can quickly set you free from this deep anger and all it brings into your life. Just ask Him, and He will come with the grace necessary to set you free. See yourself giving to Him all of this disgusting horror that entered into your life. Put it all into a big trashcan, and let Him take it and delete the pain from your life. This will include the greatest gift of all that you can give yourself and to God---the gift of forgiveness. Ask Him for the grace to forgive ALL including Him and yourself. When we seriously seek God, we will find Him and all the peace and joy we desire as we surrender ALL to His Love and Mercy.
Please remember One of Jesus final words. "Father forgive them for they do not know what they are doing."
Let us Forgive as He has forgiven us.

Born the youngest of nine children, raised VERY Catholic across the street from Immaculate Heart of Mary church and school—Mom and Dad led by example and word their FAITH in God and saw to it that I was given 12 years of Catholic Education. (Mount St. Mary’s Academy/1965)

My husband Robert and I have been married for 52 this year in a marriage arranged by God. We have 8 children, two in heaven, 24 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. Our life together has been one awesome up and down roller coaster ride which enriched my heart with so many of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. I have found that the only way, Wisdom, Understanding, Words of Knowledge, Discernment, and Healing can be received is first by experiencing in your life the hurts of others. (and you yourself a sword will pierce)* so that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.” Luke 2 v 35.
God has blessed me also many other talents and skills--but sometimes, blessings/gifts can and have caused problems or conflict in my life, as I am human and all too quickly that part of me shows up. Thank You God that You also show up!
