Undoing Knots: Opening Up to Mary

Novenas have never been my thing. They have never been a prayer form that spoke to me until I felt compelled to start one the other day: Mary, Undoer of Knots on the Hallow app. 

I found myself bubbling over in tears and deeply touched as Sr. Miriam James led us listeners through this beautiful prayer experience. I can’t remember ever being touched that much by a Novena or Marian devotion.

What led me to this Novena? The name primarily. I have knots in my life I would love undone and can’t seem to “undo” them with my own strength. Also, I have heard others share testimony that their own knots were transformed. Maybe, I thought, I too would be changed by this prayer.

Unbeknownst to me, I realized later that the Holy Spirit had led me to this Novena which was going to culminate on the Feast of the Assumption, this coming Sunday. How remarkable...
