Miracles Wrought Through St Joseph's Holy Cloak Novena

As protector and defender of the Church, St Joseph has been busy granting miracles in abundance through his 30-day Holy Cloak Novena! This sacred prayer is enthusiastically recommended by today’s devotees to St Joseph as well as many Saints from the past. In the novena, St. Teresa of Avila is quoted to have said, “If you really want to believe in it, prove it to yourself by reciting the Novena and you will be finally convinced.” This wonderous prayer has been working miracles throughout the Church for centuries. and the pace of miracles attributed to the novena only increases as more people learn of its power and as devotion to St. Joseph grows. The novena is prayed for 30 consecutive days in honor of the 30 years of hidden life that St. Joseph lived with Our Blessed Lord and the Blessed Virgin Mary.

As a testament to the power of this novena, a prayer group led by Patti Schwartz of the Flame of Love of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Movement began praying this novena together on May 1st, the Feast of St. Joseph the Worker. They got the suggestion to begin on the first and to pray this novena from Yves Jaques, the president of JMJ (Jesus, Mary, Joseph) Advertising, who is an avid devotee of St. Joseph and spends much of his time spreading devotion to him. Yves had recently spent two weeks with Edson Glauber, who has been receiving messages from St. Joseph for some time now and lives in Brazil. He has the blessing of his bishop.

Twenty members of Flame of Love cenacles began the 30-day novena; a Spanish group and an English group. Each member of the prayer group created their own holy cloak or prayer shawl in honor of St Joseph, placing upon their cloaks holy reminders to honor the Holy Family. St. Joseph rewarded them handsomely for their prayers. In the 30-day period of the novena, at minimum of 12 miracles took place. The prayer petitions of each participant were stated aloud at the beginning of the novena, so that all would know that a participant’s prayer had been answered. Here is a list of the known miracles that took place during the 30 days:

Patty’s daughter got engaged which had been a desire of Patty’s for a very long time.

Maria had hard, painful lumps in her breasts that disappeared.

Vicki’s daughter-in-law recovered her health from a long serious illness that the doctor’s were never able to diagnose.

Marina’s daughter received citizenship approval after a long wait.

Pat’s nephew was freed from an addiction.

Pat’s daughter was hired for her dream job.

Carmen’s brothers all got jobs after long period of unemployment.

Norma was able to rent her house after it had stood vacant for many months.

Hee Jung prayed that her marriage would be more in keeping with the holy marriage of St. Joseph and the Blessed Virgin Mary at their little home in Nazareth. The novena has helped them to imitate Our Lady’s virtues and Saint Joseph’s qualities in their marriage.

Marisol had a lung tumor disappear.

Eugenia’s daughter reconciled with her after a very long period of estrangement.

Rosario developed a much closer relationship with St. Joseph and her son has become much more receptive to listening to her teachings about the faith.

If one 30-day period of prayer by a handful of humble women can, through the powerful intercession of the Patron of the Universal Church, result in so many amazing blessings, just think what the prayers of the entire Body of Christ could do if we were to spread this devotion and start praying it in earnest! St. Joseph, Terror of Demons, pray for us!

John, a musician, was praying for a job. He was hired as the musical director for a big screen movie company and the film is now in production!

The group is now on their third consecutive novena. After only a few days into the third novena, Judy, who has been praying that her daughter would find a house and get married, has reported that her daughter has had an offer accepted on a home, is engaged to be married and is expected to be married within the month. The wonders of the intercession of St. Joseph never cease! St. Joseph, Custodian of the Two Hearts, pray for us!
