Psalm 50--God Blogs Today
Starting with Adam and Eve--the sin of greed--led this world down the continued path to our final outcome.
They were given Paradise, walking and talking with God--still, they were not satisfied and wanted more!
Then throughout all of history of mankind--the pattern continued. People were never satisfied with their new life, new worlds, kingdoms they controlled---no: they wanted more!
So, there were wars, there were inventions, there were gold rushes, robberies, killings, --and on and on. Still, it continues, at the cost of Paradise lost, Paradise ruined, Paradise destroyed--lives lost too. Beautiful creatures became extinct and beautiful plants, trees became overcome by invasive plants, as did the water environments destroyed by invasive fish and chemicals.
More--we want more. The trend continues with the individual not happy with who they are, not knowing just how special they are. The need for more leads them to more pleasures, more bling, fancier clothes, and riches they hope will finally bring them happiness. More changes in looks too, hoping that the new look will get them 'liked' more. Inner happiness will never come by this 'more' mentality.
More--more machines came, technology came, and the need for control also came that led to invasions of lives and rights. Cheating took to a new height with technology as the thief was invisible. As were the powers to be who used technology to cause confusion, doubts, and led people down the path of the social wars. Led not by military but by people in suits and behind closed doors, we found our world being split in two and battles won: without one shot, but the click of the keys on a board.
Build back better, bigger, taller, has always been the directive taken by humans from that last day in Eden, when the fruit of knowledge was taken because, mankind wanted to be as smart as God. Years later---many years later---trying to be God, as smart as God, continues to lead all of society on the path to the final countdown. Thank God--we know Who wins and what the final outcome is. Paradise comes again, when full restoration, recreation is completed by the Hand of God. Restoration of all that was started by the more 'greed of man.'
God wins --while 'more' fools are damned
