At the encouragement of my Spiritual Director, I was asked to write a prayer for brides, and to spread the seeds of my wedding ministry through this prayer. May the Holy Spirit touch the hearts of every bride who lifts up this prayer with her groom-to-be.
A Bride's Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
We thank You for our love.
Please pour out Your Grace on our engagement.
Help us to grow in unity and charity towards all.
May our ceremony and reception planning details draw us ever closer to one another as we see Your Hand in our decisions.
Strengthen us on this journey that engagement paves to marriage.
Amen.
