Woman, Why Are You Weeping?
What is so special about Mary, that she was chosen from among all women? Blessed among all women. Why?
Born without sin. How?
She came from Jesse's Stem---so lineage, or her ancestors were all people of God. His people, who lived in obedience to His Law and stayed faithful unto Him. So, perhaps instead of the sin of Adam being passed down into this family tree line--I am sure the Word of God was passed down, taught to all the children and they were raised in the way they were to go.
Did you know that the Jewish women would read the word of God to the child within the womb?
So, not only did Mary come into this world with the Word of God implanted into her brain: I am sure that she was also taught that word and by example led to obey the Words of God passed down through the generations. So, as planned by God--this young woman of God had already been prepared to receive ---by the Power of the Holy Spirit--the spoken Word--Jesus made flesh within her body.
She trusted, she believed said "Yes," in total surrender. "I am a handmaiden of the Lord, be it done unto me according to Your Word."
Now, what about you? How can Jesus become alive within your being? When we say, "Yes," by the same power of the Holy Spirit--the Word of God will become alive within your life! You will bring Jesus to all who you love as Jesus loved. All you have to do, is like Mary--believe that this will be done and say "Yes." Yes, with an open heart, mind and most importantly--with total surrender and trust in the Father's Love! He will protect you, and provide for you, as He did Mary. He will keep all of His promises to those that He loves. Hear His Word, and by the Holy Spirit's power---go forth and live the Word as Jesus lives in you.
You too, as Mary did, will proclaim-"
My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord,
my spirit rejoices in God my Savior
for he has looked with favor on his lowly servant.
From this day all generations will call me blessed:
the Almighty has done great things for me,
and holy is his Name.
He has mercy on those who fear him
in every generation.
He has shown the strength of his arm,
he has scattered the proud in their conceit.
He has cast down the mighty from their thrones,
and has lifted up the lowly.
He has filled the hungry with good things,
and the rich he has sent away empty.
He has come to the help of his servant Israel
for he remembered his promise of mercy,
the promise he made to our fathers,
to Abraham and his children forever."
You will proclaim this truth, for you will experience the Presence of Jesus alive in your heart and your life! Seek the Lord and He will be found in your being too. Just as He was in Mary.
