You may be asked why you believe the Catholic Church is the “true” Church of Christ. Put another way, how do you know that the Catholic Church is the one Jesus founded.
How do you know the Catholic Church is “right?” Aren’t all churches the same?
Of course there are a variety of answers to these questions, including taking the historical approach (tracing the Church back to Jesus and the apostles,) pointing out the age and founding dates of the Protestant churches, and sharing the teachings of the early church Fathers and how these teachings have remained consistent for 2000 years.
Still another way that I think proves the Catholic Church is the original Church of Christ comes from the master manipulator himself, Satan. Let’s look at a few things Satan does that help convince us of the authenticity of the Catholic Church.
First, what is the name of the official “worship” service of the Satanic church? Do they have a black praise and worship service? Do they have a black healing service? No, they have a black mass. Their version of the mass is done to desecrate the Catholic mass, because Satan is always out to attack the truth of the teachings of Jesus and his church.
Second, the Bible itself teaches that Satan and his angels also know that Jesus is Lord, so they go where the Lord is to be found: the Catholic Church.
Third, there are reported cases of attempted exorcisms done by Protestant ministers. In these instances, the demons made it clear that theses ministers had no power over them. It was only when a Catholic priest using Catholic sacramentals performed the exorcism that the demons obeyed and fled the possessed.
Finally, what holy object do devil worshippers use in their bastardized version of our holy mass? A consecrated host! Why consecrated? Because Satanists know that Jesus is truly present in the host, and that it is no simply a piece of bread “representing” or “symbolizing” something.
No, it’s clear that Satan wants to destroy the Church of Jesus more than any other denomination, which is why his attacks are most fiercely directed towards the Church of Christ, the Catholic Church founded by Jesus. Keep this in mind the next time you’re called to defend why you believe the Catholic Church is the “true” church.
