Do you do the little things?
Do you have an inner peace that comes with trust in Jesus?

“I have told you this so that you might have peace in me. In the world you will have trouble, but take courage, I have conquered the world.” [John 16:33] There can be a peace even in trouble as Jesus tells us. That peace comes from trusting that Jesus “[has] conquered the world.” When we try to battle without Jesus, we are troubled.
This peace permeated from the saints. They had a joy even when troubled. They had a trust in Jesus that other people could see and wanted. St Francis had followers because they saw his joy. People wanted to be near him and have what he had. Indeed, we are all called to have such peace through a trust in Jesus.
May we trust Jesus, especially in our troubles. Only then will we know the peace that Jesus has for us.
Joseph, you were faced with many troubles in raising and protecting Jesus and Mary, help us to trust in Jesus, for He has conquered the world and is our salvation. Amen.
