Pitting the Human Mind against a Computer
An Immense Desire to become one in the Hesed of God
As we pray alone with the Lord in the midst of things that we do not need, listen with your heart to the sound of silence. Transpose your completeness into a cloud of peace that can’t be found anywhere else but in the Hesed of God.
Regarding prayer Jesus told his followers; “when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, who love to stand and pray in the synagogues and on street corners so that others may see them. Amen, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you pray, go to your inner room, close the door, and pray to your Father in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will repay you.” (Mt. 6: 5-6).
When searching for a good definition of God I discovered the term Hesed, a Hebrew term (pronounced kheh-sed) which goes beyond any English description. From the many synonyms that are mentioned here are several; mercy, loving kindness, unswerving loyalty, steadfast love, faithful covenant, redemptive love in action, persistent unconditional tenderness, kindness and compassion.
This is how one may describe God’s Love for us and find Him in Secret prayer. Allow ourselves to bask in the very essence of all the adjectives above and more. Relax as on an emptiness without falling and feel the flow of an entity coming from God completely absorbing our humanity and turning it into a deep part of God’s hesed. You are drifting somewhere from nowhere in the hands of Jesus. Afraid of nothing with no cares of the world you came from.
We are always attempting to find a special way to be alone with our God and personally find a meaning that just belongs to the two of us. When finding time to open our soul to His generous love and find that special hesed we have stepped beyond just being human, the divine essence will enter our soul.
The experience of being enveloped within this heavenly anomaly that defies explanation allows the soul to become absorbed deeply in the hesed of God’s presence. It no doubt will be the most contemplative event without description and may last an eternity within a nanosecond. This may be the secret of transposing your completeness into a cloud of God’s Peace.
