Being a witness of His Love
In this article, you will find some encouraging and helpful quotations from the Bible for your reflection, which can help you in your life.
Use these quotations for your meditations, share them with people who need encouragement, and make them part of your daily life.
Together with the Bible quotations, I have added some reflections, which you can ponder on, through meditation and prayer.
----
Matthew 9:22 Jesus turned and saw her. “Take heart, daughter,” he said, “your faith has healed you.” And the woman was healed at that moment.
Reflections:-
These words are the same words that Jesus says to each and every one of us, each and every day of our life.
Have faith in Him, to be healed, to be set free, to be comforted, to know God in a more personal way.
Through your relationship with Jesus, you increase your faith in Him, who will always be by your side.
----
Matthew 15:25 The woman came and knelt before him. “Lord, help me!” she said.
Reflections:-
Do we ask the Lord “Lord, help me!”
Maybe we think we can do without the Lord.
Maybe we need to be like that woman and kneel before him.
Be humble, trust Him, kneel down and ask Him “Lord, help me!”
----
Mark 12:30 ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’
Reflections:-
This is a challenge for your life. Loving God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength.
Maybe you think that it is impossible to Love God this way. No, it is possible, as Jesus Himself showed you how to Love God.
What you need to do is to live your life this way, in each present moment of your life!
----
Luke 6:19…and the people all tried to touch him, because power was coming from him and healing them all.
Reflections: -
You might think: how lucky were those people who met Jesus and were healed!
If only you and I were there…we also might have been healed.
But today, now, Jesus is also here. Through the Holy Spirit, just believe, have faith and pray.
Jesus will also heal you and me!
----
Luke 15:7 I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.
Reflections:-
When you repent over your sins, rejoice, for God is glad for you.
If you want to find joy in your life, convert from your old life and seek God.
Have you ever thought how happy you will be when you accept Gods salvation?
Jesus is calling you to participate in God’s Love…..accept it.
----
John 6:20 But he said to them, “It is I; don’t be afraid.”
Reflections:-
These are Jesus’ words to each and every one of us, “It is I; don’t be afraid.”
Why, at times, are we afraid of Jesus? Maybe, He challenges us to change our lives!!!
Maybe, we are afraid to be different from others!!!
There is no need to be afraid of Jesus.
With His tender loving care, He forgives us, and accepts us back to receive His love, in an intimate personal way.
----
John 20:19 On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jewish leaders, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!”
Reflections:-
How many times in our life do we feel ourselves locked in worries and fear, unable to be free.
Maybe, we feel abandoned by our friends, relatives, family, loved ones and God.
In these situations, Jesus still loves you and comes to you, calling you by your name, saying "Peace be with you!"
----
Acts 20:35 In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.
Reflections:-
It is very precious to help people around us. We must do this out of love, to give to the other person the Love of God.
Through our act of help, we give the opportunity to the other person to experience God. We can be a witness of God’s Love by the help we provide to other people.
Let us forget the differences we have with the people around us, and focus on how to build unity and peace by offering help to our neighbour.
