Grateful For My Daughter's Health And A Special Moment
A few weeks ago, I was shopping at Wal-Mart with my three girls, my mom and youngest sister. I was preparing for my piano students' recital and purchasing only what I needed.
In the check-out line, I noticed that my older girls had thrown many things in the cart. I quickly hid them on the shelves. One of the items I hid was a chocolate bar. As I was getting ready to pay, a lady behind me said, "I'll buy the chocolate for your girls." I was shocked. I told her she did not need to pay for it, but she insisted. So I let her, and she made my girls very happy.
This lady showed me how a single act of kindness can affect someone. It can change a life. Let us remember to do acts of kindness. We will touch hearts and change lives.
