Agreeing on the Essence of God taught through the Incarnation of Jesus Christ
We are in the middle of an insurrectioning attack against God, and Catholics are the ones that are going to become the target at the center of attack. Do not be surprised at the current unrest the church is now experiencing, especially with the controversy regarding Roe vs Wade and the backlash with the Supreme Court’s decision on reversing this decision made in 1973.
This upheaval was predicted by more than one incident as in Revelation with the Sixth Trumpet as in: “The rest of the human race who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands, to give up the worship of demons, and idols made from gold, silver, bronze, and wood, which cannot see or hear or walk. Nor did they repent of their murders, their magic potions, their unchasity, or their robberies.” (Rev. 9: 20 - 21).
Just this scripture alone tells of the current events that are upon us and there is no end in sight. The very fact that over this one issue the shout of insurrection is loud and clear from the far left in our government is producing frightening scenes such as interfering within our Masses, one group stealing a tabernacle and who knows what they will do to the Holy Eucharist. We could throw blame on malicious groups, but as Paul mentioned it goes beyond just yelling and committing sacrilege. “Finally, draw your strength from the Lord and from his mighty power. Put on the armor of God so that you may be able to stand firm against the tactics of the devil. For our struggle is not with flesh and blood but with principalities, with the powers, with the world rulers of this present darkness, with the evil spirits in the heavens.” Eph. 6: 10 - 12)
Jesus told his disciples that the church would suffer persecution as we now are going through in a manner most would never have thought possible. “If the world hates you, realize that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, the world would love its own; but because you do not belong to the world, and I have chosen you out of the world, the world hates you. “ (Jn. 15: 18 -19). “I have told you this so that you may not fall away. They will expel you from the synagogues; in fact, the hour is coming when everyone who kills you will think he is offering worship to God. They will do this because they have not known either the Father or me. I have told you this so that when their hour comes you may remember that I told you.” (Jn. 16: 1 - 4).
These words of Jesus fit the mold that is happening as we read these words. A day is coming, correction is here, when our faith is currently under severe attack and our beliefs are being placed on a chopping block. This is a grim future that confronts each believer in the presence of Christ and the predictions that faced many martyrs of the church. Stand tall and hold onto your Catholic Faith.
