You can never have too much love.
You were created for Heaven. So was everyone else. And as the words ‘Our Father’ indicate, we are in it together to get to Heaven. While we all have a unique relationship with God, since He created us all unique, we are all God’s children. Just like a mother and father love all of their children, their love for each individual child is unique like each child.
If we then are all created to get to Heaven, we should not only try to get there ourselves, but help others along the journey as well. In that, we truly find love for our neighbor. We want the best good for them, Heaven. We all have relationships to others that we have a duty to do so: children, spouse, siblings, parents, other extended family, friends, and those lovely neighbors we meet each day.
Every day is its own challenge for us in our journey to Heaven and each day can present us different people to take with us to Heaven. Sometimes, we plant a seed. Other times, we water a seed. And others yet, we can harvest someone’s faith, or at least, bring them to a saving relationship with Jesus.
Each day, we can ask our self, “who am I going to take with me today?”
Mary, as your children, we are all under your care. Help us to care for our brothers and sisters in assisting them to our eternal Home. Amen.
