Update on ICKSP - Chicago Rumors

In the article I posted yesterday, Traditionis Custodes Turns One, Continues to Claim Victims, I stated that there was a rumor that an announcement was going to be made today during the Masses at the Shrine of Christ the King Sovereign Priest in Chicago regarding Blaise Cardinal Cupich potentially revoking the Institute’s faculties to offer Mass and the sacraments within the Archdiocese of Chicago. As of 2:30 PM (CT) on Sunday, July 17, 2022, no such announcement has been made.

While no announcement has been made, many people who were in attendance at Masses at the Shrine today stated they were told that the situation of the Shrine calls for all day Adoration and maintaining a fervent belief that God will prevail.

I ask that anyone who reads this, please keep the Canons and parishioners at the Shrine of Christ the King Sovereign Priest in Chicago in your prayers.
