Is Gay Ok?

The issue of same sex marriage is now before the United States Supreme Court. Ireland has already accepted same sex marriage and I assume the USA will not be far behind. Currently, the constitution will change if it is accepted. All the states in the nation will then have to accept same sex marriage. There have been major protests by the public but this will no longer matter. The deeply held religious views of Christians, Jews and Muslims will be ignored. In fact, people can then be fined, arrested, and jailed for " hate speech" if they continue to speak out against homosexual acts of sodomy. Some people claim that homosexuals are " born that way" despite no clear scientific evidence to prove this theory. Recently, I listened to a Catholic college professor who has written a book on mental health. He explained that homosexuality is a disorder. It may be caused by sexual trauma prior to puberty and with therapy.homosexuals can change. Both theories can not be correct. Major changes have also occurred now in the military and in USA foreign policy. Again there were protests, especially among the marines and other foreign leaders. The Ambassador of El Salvador wrote " We prefer to feel proudly "old fashioned", keep our moral values, preserve our families and possess the clarity of what defines good and evil." A priest had told us that many things will change in America as the law takes effect. His theory is that Abortion, Immorality, and Same Sex Marriage are the root causes of future violent storms and earthquakes. He predicts that our finances will crash and the goverment will have to declare Marshall law. Actions always have consequences.
