What do we discover when the call from God awakens us?
From a mountain hilltop I can see God.
I sit and pray as a vision appears. It is a man who stands with arms raised to heaven. The backdrop seems cloudy and with storms arriving, the view becomes holy and pleasing to God.
Standing on a mountain top raising my hands to heaven,
I look and see the Trinity of God,
As he looks back to me from where I exist,
The reality of my creation becomes open to me.
This becomes a view of now and from the beginning,
Into the future I stand yet it is the now I live,
My creator stands by reaching out to me,
I see what is present, his very presence.
A figure of humanity I have come,
The gap from here closes upon me,
As I feel the warmth of the closeness of God,
I enter his personage awaiting for me.
Have I dreamed of this or live within,
Is God’s image the now, or what will be,
No future like this could ever be,
You see, now always was.
