A Tiny Life so Real
Immortality; is it possible without God?
Recently, an article appeared on YouTube using the same question. It presupposes that through genetic engineering scientists are searching ways to make this possibility a probability. Since the earliest estimated biblical experience found in Genesis with the Tower of Babel. The footnote states that Babylon was seeking to become like God or even to surpass his divine nature. God put a stop to that and the end result was the destruction of their ascent to become divine as well. Sounds like another character that we are struggling with; Satan. He also felt that the kingdom and a ruler should be him either as another god or him as the only God.
The YouTube story promotes the possibility of man living forever via finding the key to disallow human dying from having an opportunity to exist. There are some ideas that are not new such as using cryonic suspension freezing of the body immediately after death. When the disease that killed this person is finally ended through a cure then this deceased person can be retrieved from the sleep of death and cured of the previous malady.
One important factor that is missing from this process is the connection of God within all of this scientific structure. Each of us is a product of two persons, a father and mother, through love create a biological human being and God alone infuses a living soul into the person. Without the soul the physical entity that will become a human child could not exist as a viable person. Why? The human person gets life through the soul. When we die the soul is either removed by itself or God has it removed from our physical essence.
So, once science raises a dead person through some new miracle the newly resurrected remains does not have a soul. It is similar to to what Dr. Frankenstein did when the fictional character received the brain of a criminal. Are we staring at a sci-fi creation in order to resurrect dead persons whose soul is already in eternity?
Recreating this scenario is likely to become possible , and its probability to actually happen could become a reality, although with untold circumstances that would appear as strictly sci-fi realities. However, have we or science forgotten that God does exist, not in a novel of wonders on the pages of antiquity, but in the flesh through Jesus Christ and the Trinity of God. Without a soul the reality of the species will not live as a human. Just a biological presence existing in a lifeless body
