The Ignominy Against the Innocent
A Precursor to the Holy Eucharist
Let’s begin by confirming nothing with God is ever by chance. Read through the bible and see imagery that predicts or affirms that a reality is coming that has already been established. Look at the Cross, a sign of forgiveness when Jesus was nailed with arms outstretched as a sign of embracing the sins of the world. An unblemished lamb reaching out in sacrifice for all the world.
The Passover preparation; find an unblemished lamb and prepare by sprinkling its blood on the lintel and doorposts of each house where the Passover meal is to be celebrated by a lasting meal; to be celebrated for every proceeding generation. The people will be saved because of this sign. (Ex 12: 21 ff). The unblemished lamb is Christ; the lamb's blood is the sacrifice shed on the cross at Calvary. We are saved as were the Isralies.
In the battle of Amalek where Moses stood on the rock in Horeb. As long as he held his arms raised and outstretched the battle went in favor of Israel. When the arms of Moses grew tired Aaron and Hur stood beside Moses and held the arms high. Another sign of a cross where the victory was in favor of God’s people. (Ex 17: 8 ff).
Both predicted the crucifixion in a way that showed forgiveness is only with a cross and the shedding of the blood from a sacrificial lamb.
As noted before in other articles the multiplication of two fish and five barley loaves where Jesus fed thousands in not preached upon by some if not any protestant preachers since Catholics teach it is the precursor to the Eucharist, not as a sign, but a miracle that we celebrate at every mass.
Here is where the essence of what we will celebrate takes shape. When Jesus took Peter, James, and John up on a mountain he became transfigured before their eyes and was seen conversing with Moses and Elijah, himself appearing brilliantly white unlike any launder’s bleach and was seen in his resurrected body. How if possible was Jesus seen resurrected days before his impending crucifixion?
Let’s go to the beginning of human history. When God created heaven and earth and then followed with creating man, God is! There is no past or future in eternity and therefore God always was without a past existence. Therefore, when the risen Christ appeared to the apostles he was in the present of eternity and not in an abstract existence.
So now we must look at the Transubstantiation, not a word made by Catholics but an actual event that brings down the Holy Spirit on human elements establishing the miracle of the loaves from John’s Gospel to today’s holy Mass.
Since we have established that there is no past with God then when Jesus stood holding the bread and saying; “This is my Body” he was being nailed to the cross at that very moment. As the priest says the same words during the concentration it is Christ who the priest stands in for. So when the priest says the same words Jesus is nailed on the cross. This is called the Collapse of Time. This and this alone is the meaning of the Real Presence of Christ in the Holy Eucharist. All of this is reason enough for those who are not Catholic to receive the host since they do not believe in the truth of a real substance that is his Body and Blood. When he says “This is my Blood”, Jesus now is dead on the cross.
This is the truth that the Church teaches and why even after Mass is completed, that essence who is Christ remains real in the leftover hosts Unfortunately, even many Catholics do not understand or believe in the real presence of Christ. But it is so!
