What does the Catholic Church teaches about the possibility of an ET ? (an intelligent physical being other than man)

Catechism of the Catholic Church:

I. "IN THE IMAGE OF GOD"

356 Of all visible creatures only man is "able to know and love his creator".219 ... and he alone is called to share, by knowledge and love, in God's own life. It was for this end that he was created, and this is the fundamental reason for his dignity:
What made you establish man in so great a dignity? Certainly the incalculable love by which you have looked on your creature in yourself! You are taken with love for her; for by love indeed you created her, by love you have given her a being capable of tasting your eternal Good.221

357 Being in the image of God the human individual possesses the dignity of a person, who is not just something, but someone. He is capable of self-knowledge, of self-possession and of freely giving himself and entering into communion with other persons. and he is called by grace to a covenant with his Creator, to offer him a response of faith and love that no other creature can give in his stead.

358 God created everything for man,222 but man in turn was created to serve and love God and to offer all creation back to him:
What is it that is about to be created, that enjoys such honour? It is man that great and wonderful living creature, more precious in the eyes of God than all other creatures! For him the heavens and the earth, the sea and all the rest of creation exist.

359 "In reality it is only in the mystery of the Word made flesh that the mystery of man truly becomes clear."224

St. Paul tells us that the human race takes its origin from two men: Adam and Christ. . . the first man, Adam, he says, became a living soul, the last Adam a life-giving spirit. the first Adam was made by the last Adam, from whom he also received his soul, to give him life... the second Adam stamped his image on the first Adam when he created him. That is why he took on himself the role and the name of the first Adam, in order that he might not lose what he had made in his own image. the first Adam, the last Adam: the first had a beginning, the last knows no end. the last Adam is indeed the first; as he himself says: "I am the first and the last."225

360 Because of its common origin the human race forms a unity, for "from one ancestor (God) made all nations to inhabit the whole earth":226

II. "BODY AND SOUL BUT TRULY ONE"

365 The unity of soul and body is so profound that one has to consider the soul to be the "form" of the body:234 i.e., it is because of its spiritual soul that the body made of matter becomes a living, human body; spirit and matter, in man, are not two natures united, but rather their union forms a single nature.

366 The Church teaches that every spiritual soul is created immediately by God - it is not "produced" by the parents - and also that it is immortal: it does not perish when it separates from the body at death, and it will be reunited with the body at the final Resurrection.235

371 The woman God "fashions" from the man's rib and brings to him elicits on the man's part a cry of wonder, an exclamation of love and communion: "This at last is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh."244

375 The Church, interpreting the symbolism of biblical language in an authentic way, in the light of the New Testament and Tradition, teaches that our first parents, Adam and Eve, were constituted in an original "state of holiness and justice".250 This grace of original holiness was "to share in. . .divine life".251

382 "Man, though made of body and soul, is a unity" (GS 14 # 1). the doctrine of the faith affirms that the spiritual and immortal soul is created immediately by God.

Comment

The first sentdence of 356 is clear enough: of all visible creatures only man has intelligence and will (which also means self-conscience, self-memory, freedom, responsibility). Both are attributes of the immortal soul. They can't reside in any material being without an immortal soul (note: there will never be real Artificial Intelligence with a self-conscience; the Touring test is naive, since the puppet does what the puppeteer tells it to do).

Think about it: the Church has the fullness of revelation. Even without the Cathechism, if there were intelligent creatures, we'd know about them: we'd be praying for them on "mars", in purgatory or asking them favors from Heaven. We are all part of the mystical Body of Christ. In order to be healthy, the body parts cooperate with each other and know which parts belong to the body (transplants are rejected because of this). The same applies to the mystical Body of Christ where each intelligent being (humans and angels) forms part of it, like cells in a human body. If there were ETs, it would have been already revealed and we'd be praying for them.

What if a descendent from Adam was taken to another planet?

After so much space exploration (and useless trillions of dollars), they haven't discovered a single inhabitable planet in the Universe. For the argument's sake, let's imagine there is such planet (though God doesn't do things for no reason, so we know there's no need for another planet, since He said he will come back to rule this one, where the New Jerusalem will land).

What if it evolved looking like an ugly ET? Fist, there's no human evolution as explained here.

Second, we'd know about them because we'd be praying for their Saints.

Having in mind dead austronauts who migh land somewhere, there's no descendent from Adam alive in any another planet.

There are no physical intelligent ETs in the universe

The only extraterrestrial intelligence resides in angels who aren't "visible" because they are spiritual beings and don't have a material body.

St. Thomas Aquinas explains in the Summa, that they have the power to "take body": out of thin air (literally) they can create a human body (or any other shape) with skin, hair, flesh, bones, temperature, etc. It's like a glove they move at will and even make speak or eat, as seen in the Bible.

No angel of God would trick you about being an ET: they can't lead you away from the Church's teaching. Therefore, if you meet an ET, it is a demon for sure.... run while praying HailMarys or throu them holy water. Seriously.

The same goes for UFOs which aren't weather phenomena or military aircrafts: they could be demonic physical creations or projections in your mind.

Beware of the New World Order plan to make people believe in ETs, UFOs, abductions, etc. They could be holograms, projections, hypnosis, or demonic. It's all part of THE PLAN.

Pope Francis said he would baptize Martians if they asked

He was speaking ironically: if they asked by themselves, it means they speak and can understand what baptism means, proof of intelligence and immortal soul.

It also proves that they are not demons, since holy water burns them. So, they'd be humans in disguise or deformed (e.g. plastic surgery).

Conclusion

Instead of wasting time and resources finding intelligence in the universe, how about finding intelligence in universities? They aren't doing a good job in critical thinking.

Now, seriously, think about space programs, radio telescopes, man-on-the-moon, Hubble, Webb, probes... only proving man's pride, in a useless search, only because he rejected God's Church.

The trillions wasted on SETI (Search for Extra Terrestrial Intelligence) is a scandal, especially, when we have human beings dying of hunger and curable diseases.

Let's find intelligence in our neighbor, discover in the closest ones, the intelligence of an immortal soul to be saved from eternal hell.

God blessed them and God said to them: Be fertile and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it. Have dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, and all the living things that crawl on the earth.

It is clear that God didn't command to subdue outer space.

It is clear we haven't even subdued Earth.
