What is Truth?
The awareness of the presence of the Holy Trinity
I just submitted an article titled, “I want to be a saint” wherein taken from the CCC I quoted segments pertaining to elements that prescribe holiness and the necessary steps needed to reach that desired pinnacle. How does one know if he/she has reached this point in their spirituality? I mentioned if you have it you will know it!
Earlier today, as I was praying the Liturgy of the Hours and began to sing out loud; “Sing praise to our Creator….and when the refrain “Praise the holy Trinity, the feeling of peace seemed to envelop my sense of being surrounded by the Trinity. Of course I did not see anything but my realization was one of being lifted in the room and knowledge that the very presence of God is real and I became a part of God.
This might have been a result of the prayer and song, or the article I hadn't yet put on paper. Whenever I get an inspiration to write, it usually comes suddenly and for the most part I will sit at the computer and begin to compose. After the prayer I laid down and the thought of sainthood and those who seek it entered my mind. I got up and the result was the article I mentioned above.
I am nor writing this to say look what just happened to me or I became the answer to the question regarding the steps needed when seeking holiness. It simply tells readers that each of us is capable of going beyond thoughts of the results we all have when entering God’s circle of faith. Entering the circle of the holy Trinity is a reality especially when it can come upon us without warning. When it occurs be thankful that the Lord has opened a small hole to look into without viewing, but with the understanding it does exist.
