4 Common Responses by Planned Parenthood Supporters in Response to the Leaked Videos

Despite all the information being leaked about Planned Parenthood, there are still so many people continually defending them. Why is that? Well, here are the four most common questions/statements made by Planned Parenthood supporters and my response:

1. “Why do you want Planned Parenthood defunded when abortion is only 3% of their services? 97% of what they do are women services that help the poor.”
   First off, Planned Parenthood is performing quite a few illegal acts (partial birth abortions, leaving a baby to die when it is born alive, selling fetal parts - just to name a few). This alone should be at least investigated. Now second, that 3% is quite a bit skewed. To go in to receive an abortion, there are many other procedures they require for the patient to have: blood tests, STD test, and antibiotics for any infections. They also will likely perform an ultrasound, vaginal exam, and prescribe birth control among other things. So that 3% just doesn’t give it justice.

   Finally, try looking at it from our point of view. That 3% accounts for about 300,000-400,000 babies murdered every year that they are raking in the money for those services. Now imagine if our government funded a nonprofit organization that supposedly helped the elderly. They may provide all their medications for them, perform the many important exams they need, and maybe even provide a service that mows their lawn among other things… But they kill about 300,000-400,000 senior citizens every year, some of which have a torturous death. They then harvest their organs and sell them for research. Now that money they receive from the government would only go toward the other 97% of the good services that they provide, but would you still want that money going to an organization like that? 500 million dollars going to a place that kills that many people when there are other organizations that the government could put their money into that does the same services,but doesn’t kill senior citizens. Why not defund Planned Parenthood and use that money toward places that provide the same services except do not commit illegal acts and perform abortion? The good Planned Parenthood does will never outweigh the bad that they do, and they should, at the very least, be held responsible for the illegal acts they have committed.

    

2. “Those videos are fake.” Or “Those videos are extremely edited distorting what Planned Parenthood employees actually said.”
   I bet 90% of the people who say this have not even watched the videos for themselves. The White House being one of them. They made the same claim, but whenever they were asked whether they watched any of them, there was no clear “yes”. They would just circle around the question. Here is the thing, if you think they are too edited, don’t trust what I am saying or what the White House is saying, watch them for yourselves. In fact, the full unedited versions are up on YouTube.com for each of the videos. I have personally watched four of them which were each one to three hours long, and plan on watching more. What I found was that the shortened videos got down to the real nitty-gritty information. They were edited to save people time – the content itself was not modified. The rest of the unedited videos was mostly business related, though. Planned Parenthood would like to insist that the unedited videos are also missing some chunks of time. This is true since they are not going to include the bathroom breaks and the times when they were in the waiting room which can be clearly seen when watching them. So watch the shortened videos or the unedited videos. You decide. But don’t throw the videos out as if they mean nothing, unless you have watched them yourself.
3. “The tissue is going to be thrown away anyways. Might as well donate it for research to possibly help cure a disease in the future.”
   Here is the crude truth about this statement: it sounds vaguely familiar to something said in the past. Something said by a Nazi neuroscientist named Julius Hallervorden. “If you are going to kill all these [Jewish] people, at least take the brains out so that the material may be utilized.” This scientist took brains from children and mentally handicapped people killed by the Nazis since they “offered wonderful material, of mentally poor, deformities and early children’s diseases”. Sound familiar?

   Although, you would think that it couldn’t get worse than Nazis, it does. Satanists also receives “fetal tissue”. Ex-Satanist Zachary King explains how their Satanist group would impregnate a girl from within their group, so that she could have a late term abortion. They performed the abortion procedures in many different abortion clinics at night with the abortion doctors. After their ritual was finished, some of them ate the fetal parts. Yes, you heard me right. They ate the fetal parts! He was involved in over a hundred of these rituals, but that was just him and his group. The Satanists have been doing this ever since Roe v. Wade was passed and all with the knowledge of the abortion clinics. That doesn’t sound too much like research to me (Hichborn).

4. “They do not sell tissue. All the money goes toward shipping and handling expenses.”’
   If you have watched any of the shortened videos, you will quickly realize that this is untrue. If you watch the unedited ones, especially the videos featuring the VP of Planned Parenthood and the CEO of StemExpress, you will also find this statement to be a fallacy. Now I will be honest, there are a couple points where they say something like, “I am not doing this for the money.” But then there are many more points when they are talking money like it is a business deal and not for simply covering the shipping and handling. If this was really just for donation, then they should have had a set cost for shipping and handling. In reality, though, shipping and handling was never really considered except when figuring out where the closest FedEx was.

   But here is the real catch. Everyone is saying that Planned Parenthood needs that money to cover the costs of donating the specimens such as shipping and handling, but it is very clear that Planned Parenthood is not going to be doing any of the work involved besides maybe some paperwork and being more careful to get intact specimens. The investigators (a.k.a buyers) in the videos were going to send in their own technician (as normal procedure is in these cases such as in StemExpress’s case) to perform all the real work like finding the good intact specimens and shipping them. Planned Parenthood Vice President Dr. Savita Ginde is a great example of this profit. She stated, “We don’t want to do just a flat-fee [per baby] of like, $200. A per-item thing works a little better, just because we can see how much we can get out of it.” Senior Executive, Dr. Mary Gatter, is another example. You will find her haggling over the prices and not committing to a price until she finds out what others are receiving for their specimens. She finishes by stating, “If this is in the ballpark, then it’s fine. If it’s still low, then we can bump it up.” There is a short pause before she exasperates, “I want a Lamborghini.” If this was simply tissue donation, there would be no way she would ever be able to afford a Lamborghini. No, this is a business deal, and they are illegally selling tissue.

   Besides that, we all know the basis of supply and demand. Currently the demand of intact specimens, especially fetal livers, is more than what they are being supplied. Planned Parenthood is doing very minimal work while receiving quite a lot of money for the organs. If the demand is high, do you not think they might comply and attempt to procure more which in turn would mean more abortions? Abby Johnson, a former clinic director of Planned Parenthood, has talked about how they would train their employees to convince pregnant women to have an abortion. I know this is true since there are people I personally know that Planned Parenthood attempted to convince that keeping the baby would be a bad idea. Again, don’t trust me, but start by looking at their website. Reading their site will make you think that having a baby is one of the worst decisions you could ever make.

Planned Parenthood is performing illegal partial birth abortions, not using digoxin, leaving a baby out to die during a botched abortion, altering the abortion method, and selling fetal “tissue”. When Florida investigated their Planned Parenthoods recently, the investigators found three Planned Parenthoods performing illegal abortions that were over the allowed gestational age (Ertelt). How many more illegal abortions are taking place that we don’t know about? Former employee, Holly O’Donnell, explained in one video how her superintendent called her almost excitedly to show her a fully intact late term baby whom she was dissecting while the heart was beating. Do I need to go on? There are much better options that we can put our $500,000,000 into that provide the same women’s care without the abortion and illegal acts. We need to defund Planned Parenthood and perform a full investigation on them. And if you still don’t agree, let me ask you one question. What more would Planned Parenthood have to do to warrant being defunded?
