Suffering is the only way to reach the Cross and the sure path to Christ's Loving Mercy!
Advent, the time of announcing a great manifestation God planned from the beginning Wk.one!
We usually read from signs that indicate God will reveal a great appearance of his final plan to redeem us from our sins and will do it by the most human actions that we will understand. Of course if God had created an unbelievable occurrence of suddenly appearing one day with a chosen man to instill his divinity within and show via miracles and irrefutable events, we would have to at least exclaim that the Messiah has arrived. Adding to all this phenomenon, if this man proclaimed to all who would follow him that they were to get their swords and shields and get ready for an onslaught of the Romans no one would refuse to follow and get ready for a battle cry.
However, one must read deeper into the Old Testament and see how the Lord had instilled his word through prophets saying to the people regarding the two lampstands recorded in Revelation implying the days are coming when a new kingdom will be seen and procured through the final sacrifice that he through his only Son would overcome Satan’s hold on this earth. The two lampstands are the martyrs who stand in the presence of God. (Rv. 11: 4).
“Rejoice heartily, O daughter Zion, shout for joy, O daughter Jerusalmem! See, your king shall come to you; a just savior is he, Meek, and riding on an ass, on a colt, the foal of an ass. He shall banish the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse from Jerusalem; The warrior’s bow shall be banished, and he shall proclaim peace to the nations, His dominion shall be from sea to sea, and from the river to the ends of the earth (Zec 9: 9 - 10).
“This is the Lord’s message to Zerubbabel: Not by an army, nor by might, but by my spirit, says the Lord of Hosts.” (Zec 4: 6).
A pronouncement of hope for those who believe Christ is coming, the promise of peace through a humble servant, yet a warrior through a palm branch.
