Giving Tuesday is here again starting on November 29, 2022. Although it is just one day, the season of giving continues throughout until the end of the year and beyond in terms of this endeavor. Catholic nonprofits do much good in terms of being a part of the mission of the Church in making a difference for others. There are too many nonprofits to mention in one short article, but here are a some to consider.
The St. Raymond Nonnatus Foundation
The St. Raymond Nonnatus Foundation for Freedom, Family, and Faith is a Catholic nonprofit 501c3 which was founded in 2015 by the Mercedarian friars. They came together to start a foundation to make pastoral outreach to families in crisis by offering the spiritual works of mercy. The foundation has been successful over the years in making this outreach through prayer, priestly consultations, podcasts, and programs for individuals and families. Please consider supporting this ministry as any size donation is helpful in assisting them to continue this beautiful mission for family life. The giving living is located on the website at Nonnaus.org.
Catholic Charities Appeal Philadelphia
The Catholic Charities Appeal of Philadelphia brings hope where hope it needed most in the five-county area of the Greater Philadelphia area. The appeal helps social services, education, evangelization, local mission activities, and retired clergy. The appeal provides necessary support for hundreds of thousands of people. The hungry are fed, the poor and neglected are helped, and the mission of the Catholic Church is spread through CCA in Philadelphia. Give to the appeal at CatholicCharitiesAppeal.org.
Additional organizations to learn about and give to
There are so many other wonderful ministries and organizations to consider giving to for Giving Tuesday and beyond. Some of them are the Pro-Life Union of Greater Philadelphia, Generation Life, The Culture Project and more. Be sure to check-out their websites to learn more and to help them to spread their missions which helps make the world a better place.
