"Be Fertile and Multiply"
When can I resolve my sins?
Perhaps the question should not be when but how soon should I seriously consider the damage we do to ourselves when the sin takes root within us. If we have set a rampart to common sense there may not be any possibility to even recognize its hold on our morality. We know that serious sin does not usually occur over night or with one slip away from moral judgment. It requires day after day of succumbing to the small infractions or the supportive attitude we can develop regarding something that others perform while our actions stand behind their sinfulness and applaud them by promoting the sinful action.
This just what has occurred with at least two bishops denying Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the House of Representatives,to receive Holy Communion for her direct announcement to the evil act of abortion. She doesn't need to get on a pulpit and verbally promote abortion but by the fact that she and the far left Democrats are doing whatever is necessary to ensure that abortion and the Roe vs Wade decision from the Supreme Court are rules of the land.
Bishop Michael Burbidge who was elected by the Conference of Catholic Bishops to be the chairman of the US bishop’s pro-life committee. Another prelate, Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone of San Francisco notified Pelosi that she may not receive communion unless she repents of her radical pro-abortion actions. After the notification, she defied his decision and received communion at a Catholic Church in Washington. Immediately, Bishop Robert Vasa, who heads the diocese where Pelosi has her vacation home, also denied her communion.
“After numerous attempts to speak with her to help her understand the grave evil she is perpetrating, the scandal she is causing , and the danger to her own soul she is risking, I have determined that the point has come in which I must make a public declaration that she is not to be admitted to Holy Communion unless she publicly repudiate her support for abortion rights and confess and receive absolution for her cooperation in the evil in the Sacrament of Penance, the Archbishop said at this time.”
The above is copied from statements on the internet from LifeNews.com. Meanwhile, the new USCCB chair has also gone after Joe Bidens’s abortion advocacy. In October, Burbidge denounced Biden’s stated intention to sign a bill for abortions up to birth, saying “The role of Congress is to pass laws that serve the common good - and yet this priority of the president only brings about pain and death.”
How much do we need to bring the leaders of our nation to face the will of its citizens? But, with that in mind, how much must those of us that stand for the unborns’ rights as human beings and wish to promote their right to life convince the many Catholics who have voted for politicians whose very stance sides with the far left, Pelosi, and Biden?
None of us may stand and condemn those who fight for the right to kill the unborn. We must vote for those who will. And as I said before, how soon with those who stand for a right to life for all persons may soon see Euthanasia as a rule of government as well? Those people who are willing to promote these attitudes need only to view history not too far removed when the Third Reich under Hitler had the vision of building a superior race he decided on creating. His future outlook was to make this his world-wide invention and somehow through his insatiable pride could stand beside Satan trying to make himself just like God.
What needs to be changed? The voters of this nation must see the many obstacles that too many politicians are promoting by eliminating the unborn, the elderly, the many who live with Down Syndrome, and anyone who is a burden on society. Change those who wish to destroy the populace of average citizens then the leaders will be for us and not against us.
