Pope Benedict XVI dies at age 95: his life and legacy
If you were unsure whether abortion was satanic then the recent move by The Satanic Temple group in New Mexico should convince you of the evil behind abortion. The fight against abortion is more than a fight for life. It is a fight against Satan himself. The Satanic Temple admits on their website it is a “religious ritual”.
Child and human sacrifice has long been associated with Satanism throughout the generations. Abortion is the current child Satanic sacrifice.
The Satanic Temple says it’s aim is to open a free abortion clinic in the state of New Mexico, where abortion is currently legal up until birth, and to fight for the continuance of ‘religious ritual’ abortion.
“With recent political attacks on reproductive healthcare, abortion access has been restricted or eliminated in many states. The Satanic Temple, on behalf of its members, objects to government interference with abortion access and contests that laws that impede our faith in bodily autonomy and our ability to perform our Religious Abortion Ritual violate the First Amendment and the Religious Freedom Restoration Act,” says the group on their website.
The site says The Satanic Temple (TST) is raising funds to enable them to provide medication for abortions through the mail so as to enable anyone in any state to have access to an abortion, regardless of the state’s laws in which they live. The group also seeks to provide telehealth abortion services to patients in New Mexico, information and resources to those outside New Mexico, travel assistance for anyone wishing to go to New Mexico for an abortion, and the operational costs for its first abortion clinic.
The group, which uses a variation of the caduceus overlayed on a pentagram, says the abortion clinic will be named “The Samuel Alito’s Mom’s Satanic Abortion Clinic” in honor of the U.S. Supreme Court justice Samuel Alito, who wrote the majority opinion for the Dobbs v. Jackson case. The group says on their website it is because Samuel Alito’s mother did not have an option for abortion in 1950 and that the clinic is to remind people of their right to control their own body without government interference and ramifications.
The move to claim abortion is a religious right is an attempt to circumvent current laws prohibiting abortion and placing abortion under the protection of religious freedom. “Unfortunately, we don’t have enough information to know how state laws will be enforced. We believe that the religious nature of our care neutralizes this risk, but state courts must affirm this, and we are working toward attaining that confirmation,” the website says.
Sacred Scripture reminds us that we are created with a purpose and a plan even before we are formed in the womb.
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I dedicated you, a prophet to the nations I appointed you.” (Jeremiah 1:5)
The prophet continues a few chapters later by reminding us that it was not just Jeremiah that had a calling. It is all of us that are created with a purpose and a plan.
“For I know well the plans I have in mind for you, says the Lord, plans for your welfare, not for woe! Plans to give you a future full of hope.” (Jeremiah 29:11)
The Lord creates each of us within the womb for a plan. He gives each of us a purpose in life. Abortion cancels that plan and purpose even before it has a chance to get started. It is Satan who sought to kill Moses as a child in the Old Testament. It is Satan who sought to kill Jesus as a child, causing the holy family to flee to Egypt. The evil one is intent on destroying, killing, and terrorizing.
“For our struggle is not with flesh and blood but with the principalities, with the powers, with the world rules of this present darkness, with the evil spirits in the heavens,” (Ephesians 6:12)
St. Paul tells us in his letter to the Ephesians how to overcome this evil attack.
“Therefore, put on the armor of God, that you may be able to resist on the evil day and having done everything, to hold your ground. So stand fast with your loins girded in truth, clothed with righteousness as a breastplate, and your feet shod in readiness for the gospel of peace. In all circumstances, hold faith as a shield, to quench all the flaming arrows of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.” (Ephesians 6:13-17)
It is our duty as Christians to fight against these evil practices and urge all to repent of such sin. We need to immerse ourselves in Scripture, in the Sacraments, and in prayer.
