What NOT to do as a parent: a Catholic perspective
The St. Raymond Nonnatus Foundation is a Catholic nonprofit 501c3 headquartered within the Philadelphia area. Founded by the Mercedarian Religious Order in 2015, they make pastoral outreach to families crisis. Finding God is Loss Retreat in Philadelphia
The National Shrine of Saint Rita of Cascia is located in South Philadelphia. On Saturday, March 11th from 8:30 am to 1 p.m. the foundation will hold a retreat all about healing. This retreat is geared for anyone who has experienced some kind of loss. The shrine itself is run by the Augustinian Religious Order. The day will feature a tour of the shrine, talks, discussion, prayer, and lunch. Cost is just $25. To register, click here.
Marian Summit: hope for families
Another upcoming event of the foundation is the Marian Summit. The subtitle is “hope for families”. As the foundation makes outreach to families in crisis this virtual summit will feature over 20 Catholic speakers. Each speaker will offer catechesis, stories, and reflections on the Blessed Mother. The event happens on May 16, 17, and 18th at 6 p.m. ET. It is a free online event. To register, click here.
Ongoing events
The foundation offers prayer, free priestly consultations, podcasts, and programs. As the foundation is a nonprofit, all offerings are free, however donations are welcome.
