Within the essence of the Holy Trinity we were already being formed within the womb of life
Forever will I Love Thee no matter what I face.
Until the world around me crumbles or becomes unbearable, my trust will be in the Lord. What type of promise is this that no matter what happens this love will never cease? Two scriptural verses contain the manner in which love can be achieved, but with a positive approach that must be followed.
St. John’s Gospel and the incident at the Last Supper after Judas leaves the group where Jesus gives a command to love. It will not be easy for the rest to adhere to until Jesus is raised from the dead. “Now is the Son of Man glorified, and God is glorified in him. If God is glorified in him, God will also glorify him in himself, and he will glorify him at once. My children, I will be with you only a little while longer. You will look for me, and as I told the Jews, Where I go you cannot come, so now I say it to you. I give you a new commandment: love one another. As I have loved you, so also you should love one another. This is how all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” (Jn. 13: 31 - 35).
Our second set of scriptural verses goes like this: “If I speak in human and angelic tongues, but do not have love, I am a resounding gong or a clashing cymbal.”...........”So faith, hope, and love remain, these three; but the greatest of these is love.” (1Cor 13: 1…..13). We all have heard the complete chapter from Paul, and are familiar with all the aspects it implies. The very tenet of the reason God sent his Son to each of us. Redemption, Yes. But with love as the basis of his Father’s Love as well!
If we find that in the world of disappointments, those who have turned away from our intentional love for them, and after all we have done for them disappears, we ponder on the term “love one another?”
Two people in love; supposedly a man and woman, enter into the sacrament of marriage. Their vows include a promise to love one another until death alone severs the promise. The statistics of divorce are overwhelming and unfortunately any children that are still with them.
An inopportune time occurs where after all the attention we give to prayer, trusting in God, and awaiting the end of life to our own glory, suddenly grows dim. A question could arise as to why this could appear in this person's life as an upstanding follower of Christ and now it has turned his life upside down?
Of course the age-old question; Why do bad things happen to good people and good things happen for those who are evil, or appear so? This is the same answer over and over throughout human history. There is no conclusive answer that will satisfy anyone. No matter what a person’s intention is to do what is right, it seems that providence is as far away as east is from west.
God always wanted his creatures to end their lives in heaven which he created for Adam and Eve. Yet, what began as a beautiful completion for humans turned sour because of sin. Jesus, through the Incarnation took on humanity in order to save a fallen race. After so many bad incidents of rejection by his own people, they crucified our savior, God’s Son. and destroyed their only chance to find redemption.
Without the love that is Agape love, none of us would be capable of eternity with the Holy Trinity. The answer to this love is what Jesus left with his disciples; Agape Love. There is no love any deeper than this love. It goes beyond expression, felling, or any sense of being. It is pure, holy, and everlasting.
