You Are Worth The Resurrection
As a daughter learns to be a woman by looking to her mother as an example; so do we as daughters of our Heavenly Mother, understand what it means to be a woman by looking to our Blessed Mother as an example. I believe that understanding and thriving in your femininity first comes by understanding She who is your Mother and letting Her teach you what it means to be a woman. As a mother fosters her child’s development and growth, so does our Heavenly Mother foster our spiritual development and growth.
When we gaze upon our beautiful Heavenly Mother, we find the perfection of all feminine virtues. Angelic sweetness, humility, meekness, perfect submission, perfect obedience, perfect charity, perfect love. To grow these virtues within ourselves, we need to gaze upon She who is the dispenser of grace, and allow Her to nurture and grow virtue in our souls until we blossom into the women who The Father, created us to be.
“All graces given by God pass through the Blessed Mother.” -Saint Padre Pio
“All gifts, virtues, and graces of the Holy Ghost are administered by the hands of Mary to whomsoever She desires when She desires, and in the manner She desires, and to whatever degree She desires.” - Saint Bernardine of Siena
“ Every grace granted to man in this life has three successive steps: from God, it comes to Christ, from Christ to the Virgin, and from the Virgin, it descends to us.”
- Saint Bernardine of Siena
Femininity is found in Mary, and it is lost in not knowing Mary. To know Her is to love Her, and like a good mother, She teaches us how to be the women that we have been called to be. I invite you to claim the life giving power of the Resurrection over your femininity. The world is set out to destroy it, but Christ’s Mother is here to define it. The essence of femininity is revealed in The Eternal Woman, The Holy Mother of God.
The womb of a woman is The Lord’s Holy Dwelling. The first Tabernacle for God Incarnate was the womb of a woman. The dignity and worth that women hold are outstanding and to such a high degree. Whether a woman is called by God to be a mother physically, spiritually, or both; the privilege of bringing forth life can spring forth from each and every woman. God’s plan for women and the world's plan for women, are vastly different. This is why God says we cannot serve two masters. This means we cannot serve both the world and God, because the two are in utter opposition to one another.
The good news is that God and His plan for women win. The Mother of God crushes the head of the serpent with the fruit of Her Womb, and truth triumphs.
Blessed be God and His Holy Mother, now and forever.
