ANGELS

I awaken into a new looking day
everywhere is fresh life growing
as the sun warms the cold away
as the world is full of happy things
and the angels are lifting me higher

the lovely flowers around me grow
playful animals run to and fro
the scent of flowers surround the air
and I float with the clouds puffing up there
and the angels are lifting me higher

the angels aid in my flight indeed
revealing splendor unexpectedly
with guidance and safety on hopeful wings
moving me higher to a happier space
finding laughter in a trustful exchange
the wanting of good makes love better
and the angels point me to go higher

a day like this is almost a dare
nature in bud and bloom everywhere
as sun rays envelop every part of life
fresh air takes my breath for a stretch
and the angels are lifting me higher

I challenge my courage
I am ready to grow
held by a purpose in agreement bold
with the help of angels in faith and hope
I soar while on my way
to be better
